Basic InformationAge: 18Birthday: 10/31Gender: FemaleHeight: 5'5 FtWeight: 110 LbsAppearance: Aura is a medium sized, pale-skinned teenage girl with bright, rosy cheeks to colorize her complexion. Their hair is mainly a snow white, so long it nearly reaches her hips. Aura's body is also fairly average, alongside being rather lithe, though not lacking some form of muscle. The outfit she usually wears is a white and blue kimono with a giant, red ribbon holding it together, fitting with the traditional style of her own mother. Meanwhile her alternate outfit is essentially the same thing, though shortened and created with more room for adventurous reasons. Usually, her small little hands have their nails painted a velvet color, alongside her toes, which the feet attached to them are also small. Finally, her eyes are a shiny, cloudy-baby blue color, due to her blindness, her gaze generally looking off absent-minded in the distance.Personality: Due to the constant negligence, abuse, and isolation Aura has received all of her life, she was grown considerably jaded. Though she is still a child at heart, having never gotten to experience the joys of life, and simply waiting for them to be tapped, due to her inherently cold body and mental excruciation, she keeps to herself, trying to feign that she is perfectly fine. All her responses come off as cold, and almost robotic, with her mannerisms completely devoid of any happiness. She is also extremely distrustful to just about everyone around her, since she has never had the opportunity to ever trust in the first place, and has never experienced love. However, given enough time and social interaction, her heart is capable of being thawed out of her depression and her frozen prison. To people she cares about, she will stop at nothing to do anything she can for them, and deep down she wishes to love unconditionally. She is also significantly more childish than your average teen, and will resort to tactics relating to that of a younger age.History: Aura was born into rather broken beginnings. Not only was her father never even a factor in her life but the day she was born, her mother died. Thankfully, however, her mother was a greatly respected shinobi, so the village managed to find her a foster home, that being of close friends to the family within Kirigakure. However, even then, things wouldn't look up for her. Due to being blind since her life began, she's constantly closed in, not allowed to go out of the house without her foster parents, leaving her hurt emotionally by the lack of socialization and even her own foster family due to constant abuse. There were also a few instances on where the other girls would ignore her, afraid they could get her hurt, when she was perfectly, physically capable, and all she wanted to do was make friends with them, alongside her parents quickly shooing her away. Due to her isolation, and non-allowance to do anything physically taxing, her body has become as frail as glass to near anything aside the cold. Other than that, she's had a rather normal life, just as her mother wished, though while under the tyrannical rule of her caretakers. The only notable skill she gained, due to boredom and from being blind since birth, she's figured out how to navigate quite well without her sight, by honing in on her remaining senses, such as hearing and smelling, in order to figure out where she was and what could be around her. To this day, though, she stays locked up in her ‘cell’, the only things to keep her company being a bunch of books and her own coldness.Likes: Aura, while in a calm, un-energized state, loves to be read stories, cuddle with anyone willing, and eat sweet foods, though her favorite food is rice. When in an energized, adventurous mood, she loves to explore the world around her despite a lack of eyesight, talk to many people, and learn from the many people and places she discovers along the way. She also has a fondness to fight, although only in a sparring format, due to the exhilaration it brings her in her mind, just thinking about it.Dislikes: For the dislikes; killing absolutely appalls her (unless in extreme cases), and would rather avoid unneeded violence (unless it's a sparring match). When she figures out someone is being rude to her, she'll immediately become upset, and most likely cry, as anger usually is unlike her. Aura also dislikes physical harm to herself, and family, and will cry when pushed too far. However, if she's determined enough, she can overcome pain. Finally, she dislikes it when people pry into her business, without any sort of consent

Can we go look at it, pleeease?"'Huff...Aura, we're doing a lot by taking you out for camping. Don't ask for too much. We'll let you explore when we get to the campsite.'"Awww...okay, Mommy..."The pale-skinned, cloudy eyed little girl skipped and pranced alongside a rather grotesque pair of adults; a foster mother and father; as they went through the forests of Mizu no Kuni. This had been the first time she'd ever been able to be outside the city, able to explore the world for what it is. Her first taste of real life. It filled her little heart with joy.Her name was Aura Yukimenoko. Why was she so sheltered, you may ask? Well, as she was told, and knew; from the day she was conceived, the girl was blind, from a sensory birth defect, most likely from the shaky history of her father. Not only that, her birth mother, Aurora Yukimenoko (a respected shinobi of the Yuki Clan, at the time), died merely minutes after the procedure. As such, her new caretakers; friends of the Yukimenoko family, known as the Brinewaters, kept her inside all her life, in feigned fear of her getting severely hurt due to her condition. This means she also did not join the Ninja Academy, deeming her as a simple citizen.Course, what they didn't know was that the girl could navigate quite easily, and while being frail, wasn't useless. However, it's not certain whether or not she'd be able to explore how she wants to, regardless of how capable she really is. One thing is for sure, though; this girl is a lot more childish than one would think, despite being sixteen, seventeen in a mere two days. Sadly, this day was not meant to be bonbons and butterflies. Moments after the foster family sets the campsite, Aura would be called for by her "mother".'Aura, sweetheart? There's some interesting noises up ahead I think is safe for you to check out. Do you want to find it by yourself?'This made the sweet, sweet girl beam a wide smile at the promise of her first, miniscule adventure, as well as the fact her strict caretaker said she could without asking to do so."Oh, thank you so, so much, mommy!"Alert as she was, she heard something rustling between the tall grass and squishing against the mud. Steps – many of them. From what she could hear, there were three of them. They were decently equipped, as she heard, from the clanking of metal and twisting of leather, and headed towards her direction... They grew closer, not bothering to hide themselves. They must have been very confident in themselves and their task at hand. When Aura looked back, as she hadn't gone too far from camp, the mother and father were nowhere to be seen. It was only the child, on her own. How strange. That wasn’t how parents were supposed to be when faced with danger. This made her frown, and got her...obviously, quite scared.Distracted by her feelings, she couldn’t react as quickly as she wanted to when the three men took her without a word; slashing her cheeks all of a sudden with a sharpened kunai, pushing her to the ground, and smooshing their feet on various parts of her body, including her face. All she could do was squirm and screech under the boot of her offenders, tears beginning to stream down her little rosy cheeks."W-why are you hurting me, misters?! S-sto-"Before she could say anything else, one of the men knocked her out with a single kick to the side of her head, efficiently immobilizing her. After doing so, two men would then simply trap her in a solid sphere of water, restricting her movement, but not before throwing her in a brown rice sack. Then, they would start to trek towards the docks near the border of the city, every so often bickering about how stupid this job was....Why would they be doing this? Why would the parents leave? Interesting questions to note. Though, it would take until about Midnight for the rugged men to make it to their destination, where a boat would start to pull in...
