Takamitsu and the Genjutsu Release

Takamitsu sat at his classroom desk, across from the instructor. Although Takamitsu wasn't fully listening, he was sure he was being scolded.
"Why does it matter to you if I can pass this exam or not?"
"Because it's a waste of potential if you waste away here for another few months until you're able to take the exam again. When is the last time you've trained a jutsu that wasn't required for the exam?"
"Uh..."
"If you're on a mission, and a situation arises where you need a certain jutsu, your opponent won't wait for you to take some time off and train yourself, you need to be prepared for situations like that."
"And what jutsu are you proposing I learn?"
"You seem like you have the potential to learn how to release genjutsu, so that's what we're going to focus on."

Takamitsu sat in the classroom for over an hour, trying to grasp the basic concepts behind genjutsu and how it is released. "So I use the tiger seal to channel my chakra through my body, which helps break the hold that's on it?"
"Yeah, that sounds about right."
"And how are we going to train this?"
Takamitsu was lead outside of the class and out of the Academy, and he was instructed to form the seal and start the chakra flow. He stood silently, doing as he was told. As he concentrated, his instructor quickly formed a series of seals, staring at Takamitsu. "What are you doing?" Takamitsu questioned before returning to silence. Instead of responding, the instructor turned away as series of copies stepped into the boy's field of view, emerging from behind trees and stepping into his peripheral vision. "Defeat the illusions." His instructor called from a few meters away. Takamitsu slowly gave way to a small smirk as he let go of the hand sign, jumping forward to punch one of the illusions. Instead of the clone getting hit and dispersing like he had expected, he fell through it to the ground, and two illusions formed from pieces of the one he split in two. "It's a genjutsu, Takamitsu, your fists aren't going to do anything here!"
"Well, what am I supposed to do!?" The boy called back, becoming frustrated, "I'm not strong enough to disperse this!"
"You haven't even given it a fair shot yet!"
Takamitsu huffed, forming the hand sign one more time. He closed his eyes and focus, trying to move the chakra through his body as hard as he could. His instructor smiled, noticing[url=javascript:ShowHideLayernew('optionsitems')][/url] the weakening hold he had on the boy. Although the instructor would never mention it, the boy was right, and he currently wasn't strong enough to break a genjutsu of this strength. But, the instructor thought, if a simpler genjutsu were to come around, or if the boy was to become stronger, the technique he was using would have been more than enough to break the hold it had on his chakra. The boy finally mumbled "Release." and when he opened his eyes, his superior had already dispelled the genjutsu.
