The Ask and the Answer ~P, NK~

Altar stood against the monument dedicated to the current leader of the nation he now called home. His eyes searched the various people walking by, none standing out to him. None of them were people he knew. A sea of faces with blank expressions. An ocean of gray, nothing and no one spectacular in that crowd. No one would miss a single one of them if they were to die. No one would remember their names in the end, and they were doomed to die as they lived. Bland. Boring. Uneventful.

"These cattle...they sicken me. Good for nothing, waste of resources, and ripe for slaughter. Now we need a butcher!" The all too familiar voice seethed in his head, the voice as wispy as the mist in front of him.

"Silence, Kalamity. I know what you say all too well. They bear no brand of Kirigakure and no sense of actual meaning. Not a soul worthy to be reaped among them. But if you would kindly, shut up. I feel something on the horizon..." Altar would reply in his mind, a sinister grin across his face.

"Oooh! The boy has fire! Too bad the flames are soon to be extinguished. A sad tragedy, fit for a king. But the fire would only burn you, my boy. However, you're correct. I feel something, too..." the voice would repeat Altar's notion, only confirming it. But Altar couldn't see anything...not yet, anyways.

Naturally, it was that time of the hour where Xyxer would go worship the wonderful monument dedicated to himself. For this journey, he had a simple, black tee on with the casual blue NINJA pants on. Leg room and all, ya' know? A small wrap of bandages around his right elbow with some covering his throat, always gotta' be prepared. Noticing a boy he once tortured, he raised his hand in glee as he waved, making his way towards him. Naturally, Samehada was situated upon his back. "Hello, Teary!"
