Academy training 101

Etch woke early in the morning to begin his training in order to become a Genin. Knowing achieving this was his first step to more power, he made his way over to the sandy training grounds in to begin the progression. The sun shined brightly over the dry desert, making the sand throughout the desert glow and flicker. Making his way to the training grounds, Etch went over every jutsu he has to learn in order to become a genin. Transformation Jutsu, and Clone Jutsu. Just two jutsus, and he can start it all. Arriving to the Training Grounds, he takes it all in. The sandy plains, log posts in front of him, and distinctive Suna walls that surround and protect him. Tuning in with his surrounds, he stands in silence, preparing for his training session. Once in sync, Etch began with the most well known jutsu, the Clone Jutsu. It was supposedly a jutsu where you could create a duplicate of yourself, or at least thats what he was told in the Academy. During his lesson at the Academy, Etch was informed the hand signs for this particular jutsu was first the Ram, then snake, and finally tiger. "Okay, I can do this." thinking to himself. Etch stood in place and began to practice the hand signs, but not the jutsu itself. He would hate to begin to fumble during the Genin Exams, and wouldn't want to look inferior to other Academy Students. He was aiming for the top, and if a little bit of preparation would get him there, why not? After a few times of practicing the formation, Etch felt like he was ready to begin the jutsu itself. Nerves began to come over him, knowing good and well this would be his first ever Jutsu! If done successfully of course. He snapped out of the pessimistic thoughts within his head, and began to focus the inner chakra inside of himself. Allowing it to build up, Etch felt uneasy and began to  go over  the hand sign routine. Not thinking about it any longer, he just continued the motion until he finally reached tiger and waited. Nothing seemed to happen. Puzzled, Etch tried to go over all which happened before going any further. He built the chakra inside of him, centered his gravity and began the hand seals, and let everything go on from there. Along that last step he realized his mistake. How could you expect a jutsu if you're not even thinking about it? Dumbfounded, he tried to push it aside him and know it was just a small mistake, he's a academy student after all. Repeating his routine, Etch followed all his previous motions, and this time focused on the clone being summoned beside him. After this, he was met by a big puff of air, and out came himself, looking straight at him. He did it, Etch finally did his first jutsu! Happy and thrilled, Etch tried to see how long he could hold the clone, walking home after completing his first summoning. However, before making his way back home, he looked back at the area which he just finished his first ever jutsu. Filled with excitement, he oddly thanked the area itself for success, too thrilled with his results to even care how weird it may sound. Turning back around, he began his walk back to his home, noting he had to return as soon as possible to get the next jutsu down. He wanted to be stronger, and that was the way to do it. Though full of energy to push on, he decided it was time for some food or sorts for his big accomplishment.
