Well, that was quite bad. He had failed to assimilate a simple item into his own body. He had heard of ninja who could merely eat scrolls and store them within their bodies, but had always assumed that that particular property was a part of the scroll. Now, he was attempting to destroy nature (which was what he often did, let's face it) and reverse things, by giving himself the ability to not just assimilate scrolls, but most matter itself, compartmentalizing them within his flesh. He would just have to think back to the time when he could almost freely move his tissue around.
Well, time to try again. Kozai got up from his chair, where he had slept comfortably for a few hours. It was time to find a suitable object. Rummaging through his drawers, Kozai came up with a blank scroll. Well, this would have to do for now. Never had he been so desperate for a training tool, he thought. Well, sacrifices had to be made in order to accomplish his goals. The particular part was something he needed to get done. The Seed was easily stolen, and he needed to hide it somewhere where no one could see or identify it. And where else better than internally?
He would place the palm of his hand on the end of the scroll, focusing his chakra, aligning it medically in order to interact with his tissue. He felt the skin on his hand bubble, and shift slightly. Ah... he was getting there. His flesh would settle back into place. After such a long time of lack of experimentation, Kozai's body had little chance of re-learning the jutsu quickly. He grabbed the ever-present water bottle on his desk and walked out of the office to the water fountain outside. It was here that it seemed that the bottle half-sunk into his hand. Shocked, Kozai would drop it... ah, so there was a bit of lag on this. Well, this was certainly something he could work with. All he had to do was expend a little more chakra. Picking the water bottle back up, he moved to refill it from the filtered water fountain outside. Returning to his office, he would take a nice long sip from the bottle (huehue). He almost had it, he just had to put in a little more effort. And then after that... the limbs.
