Spar with Kenchi ( HATSUGEN'S INVITE ONLY, NKILL)

Hatsugen walked down to the beach, ready to get some training in for the day. He arrived and stood on the stand, doing some basic stretches before the battle, not wanting to pull anything and put himself out of commission for a few days. He was dressed very well today, Jordan 9 "Olives" on his feet, some black Nike mid-calves, a Stussy Camo G-shock on his wrist, khaki cargo shorts, a plain white tee, his two golden chains, and a Bape camo rain jacket. His Heaven's Sorrow Ninjato was strapped to his back, the handle poking out over his left shoulder. The sky looked cloudy and ominous, as if the Heavens would open up and let out their wrath any second. The sea was violent, the waves spraying sheets of white foam onto the shore. Hatsugen breathed deeply, taking in the nice aroma of the ocean spray. He felt invigorated by the smell of his homeland, the smell that he had grown up with. Hatsugen was looking for a nice spar today, an opponent that would challenge him well and show him how to fight at a higher lever; he was hoping for a gennin or chunnin. Now, Hatsugen did not know any jutsu yet and his skills were poor compared to shinobi of these ranks, but he knew that this would be the only way he would get better. He sat down in the sand, watching the entrance to the beach and waiting for a strong opponent to show up.

Kenchi would be heading to the beach once again. He was hoping he could have some fun and maybe a quick spar with someone. Kenchi arrived at the beach and began to stretch his muscles. Off in a distance, he saw another person doing the same thing. He smirked a little because he knew he could get a spar out of the kid. There was no rush so he completed his stretches and walked over to the kid. Kenchi was dressed in his full chuunin attire, though he did not like to dress up like this unless he was about to fight someone. Jinn was now close enough to the kid to talk to him. "Hey, I noticed you stretching and I was wondering did you want to maybe spar...or something." Jinn would say to the kid. He hoped the large 8 feet sword on his back would not scare him away.

Hatsugen would see a boy a good deal older than him approach as he concluded his stretches. He could tell by the boy's attire that he was a chunnin, meaning he was greatly skilled, much more so than himself. He was a bit intimidated by the 8 foot long sword on his back, but let out a little chuckle when he noticed that the handle was facing downward and the top of the sword was poking up over his right shoulder. Haha, a Chunnin doesn't even know how to strap on his own sword? Hatsugen would think to himself. He wondered if this was a strategic decision or if he just forgot to put it on the right way. If the latter was the case, he would have to unstrap the sword and re-strap it to his back, giving Hatsugen precious time to make the first move. Hatsugen knew that he would need this advantage, seeing that the boy looked a great deal stronger, faster, more sturdy, and obviously more skilled with chakra and jutsu than him. Hatsugen would shake the boy's hand and offer him a smile, "Hey, my name is Hatsugen, and I would love to spar," he would say. He wanted to be nice to the boy so that maybe they could become friends. He knew that it was very important to have powerful friends. After this brief greeting, Hatsugen would take a few steps back, creating 5 meters of distance between him and his opponent. He would draw his Heaven's Sorrow Ninjato with his right hand. Holding it with both hands, he would hold it diagonally upwards across his body at arms length. He knew that this would be a good, versatile stance, seeing that it could be defensive and offensive. He would feel invigorated holding the blade in his hand, it would make him feel more aware and receptive. For some reason he had a good relationship with his blade. He would hop out of this stance into the air and slash down at the boy's chest. The attack was a weak one; intentionally, he did not want to end this fight too early, and besides, this guy was a chunnin, he had no doubt he would be able to dodge or counter the attack even without his sword. Even if the attack did hit, it would be a flesh wound cutting across his chest, requiring some stitches at the most. It would be very difficult for his opponent to draw his sword, due to the way it was positioned across his back; he would probably have to dodge the attack. If his opponent did try and unstrap the sword and reposition it, Hatsugen would take advantage of this opening, as his hands would be full with the blade and he would not have the option of blocking the technique with the sword. If he did this, Hatsugen would launch another aimed at his legs, this would be the hardest spot to block in his position.

Kenchi would shake the kids hand and smirk a little at his enthusiasm. Kenchi would watch as the kid leaped back five meters away from him. Kenchi would smile as he saw the boy draw his ninjato and while Hatsugen was drawing his sword, Kenchi would also unsheathe the ninjato at his side, with his right hand. Although his left hand was twitching, eager to draw the blade, Black X Calibur and debut it in battle for the first time. Though he knew better than to draw the blade against the kid because he knew if he cut him once then the battle would be over and the kid would be dead. Kenchi would almost be caught off guard by the kid, looking up just in time to see him attempt a downward slash with his blade. Using his speed to his advantage Kenchi would quickly raise up his right hand which held his ninjato upwards to intercept the sword, causing the two swords to clash together. He knew his strength would prevail and the kid would most likely be overwhelmed and pushed backwards. If he was pushed backwards and the clash was over, Kenchi would hop backwards 5 meters and throw a single pronged kunai towards the kid. While the kunai would be in flight, he would use the time to perform hand signs and create a water clone beside him.

Hatsugen's attack would be blocked by his opponent and he would be thrown back. He would see his opponent jump into the air and throw a 3-pronged kunai at him while a water clone also formed next to Hatsugen. Hatsugen would deflect the kunai with the ninjato while running towards his opponent and his water clone when he cleared the distance, he would slash through the clone, bisecting it at it's waist. The clone would fall in a splash of water. Next, Hatsugen would run towards his opponent with his sword extended, point facing forward. It would look like he was aiming to spear right through his opponent. However, at the last second he would duck very low to the ground, under any attack or counter made by his opponent and slash upwards across the opponent's chest, again only causing a flesh wound. After doing this, he would spin counter clockwise, opening his chest away from his opponent and coming up again to stand tall. When he was up, still maintaining his momentum from the spinning movement, he would turn his hand and brutally slam his opponent's right cheek with his fist and the end of his sword.

From the distance of five meters, Kenchi would watch Hatsugen deflect the kunai. He would then observe Hatsugen as he ran towards the clone Kenchi created. Hatsugen would slash the water clone in half and it would disperse back into its original form of water.

After Kenchi saw that his clone was destroyed he would raise his right hand from his side, which held his ninjato. He would hold his sword in front of him horizontally, he would then shift his left foot a little, his right foot would remain in its original position. His eyes would follow Hatsugen's every move.lot of He would prepare himself for a straight on attack, but he was surprised when Hatsugen ducked at the very last moment. Had Kenchi not been at a higher rank and faster then Hatsugen, the attack might have actually hit him. Kenchi would step backwards, using his speed to maneuver around the attack before the sword could wound him. He would watch Hatsugen turn his body around counter clockwise and attempt to punch him after doing so. Kenchi would lift his left hand from his side and catch Hatsugen's fist. He would then squeeze the hand he caught, which also carried Hatsugen's ninjato. With Kenchi having over nine times Hatsugen's strength, he would most likely drop the sword and his hand would be bruised from Kenchi squeezing his hand.

It's my turn, Kenchi would think to himself. He would then let go of Hatsugen's fist. After doing so he would quickly step back wards and duck down. He would place his hands onto the ground and move his right leg forward, at a fast speed. He would sweep Hatsugen's legs from under him. Once Hatsugen was on the ground he would stand back up, to his feet and he would point his ninjato downwards at the neck of Hatsugen. "You are pretty good." He would say starring down at Hatsugen. The following events would only be possible if Hatsugen had not found a way to avoid them.

Hatsugen would succeed in deflecting the kunai and destroying the water clone, however the much faster and more agile chunnin would succeed in dodging the Ninjato attack. He would also manage to grab Hatsugen's hand when he went in for the fist strike, squeezing it so hard that Hatsugen would drop his sword. Hatsugen would spin around and watch the chunnin drop to the ground, Hatsugen knew that this could only mean one thing: an attack from below. Hatsugen did not know what his opponent was planning to do, but his instinct was to jump up 5 meters into the air, as he could not see what his opponent was doing on the ground, he did not want to take any chances. He would land 5 meters behind the chunnin, creating a good amount of space between the two of them. He now did not have his sword, it was next to the chunnin who appeared to kick the air where Hatsugen had been just seconds earlier. If Hatsugen had not moved, the maneuver would have swept his legs out from under him and brought him crashing to the ground. Hatsugen would charge at the chunnin just as he got out of his sweep move, which would most likely catch him off guard as he had been focusing on the attack. Just as he stood up, he would most like be trying to regain his balance after coming off the ground, Hatsugen would aim a strike with the heel of his hand at the boy's chin. If this strike succeeded, the boy's head would most likely snap backwards, causing him to look up at the sky, leaving a blind spot where Hatsugen would punch him in the abdomen and quickly transition to a knee strike in the crotch. If this combo succeeded, it would most likely knock the boy over, but if it did not, the boy would almost definitely be off balance and Hatsugen would push him to the ground. He would then run over and grab his ninjato and take up a defensive position while the boy was still unaware and on his back.

While Kenchi's leg was suspended in the air, he would notice that e had not made contact with anything. He would look around himself and notice that Hatsugen had leaped in the air before his legs could be swept from under him.Smart move, Jinn would think to himself. He would then watch as Hatsugen landed five meters from him. Kenchi was in a bad position because he could not get up and get in his battle stance in time to avoid the Hatsugen's attack. So Kenchi decided to stay on the ground with his leg still suspended in the air, he would position his body towards Hatsugen, so that his feet would be aimed in the direction Hatsugen was coming from. He would would pull his leg back slightly and perform three quick jabs with his leg, all of the kicks would be aimed at the face of Hatsugen because of the speed of Kenchi at least one of the attacks would most certainly hit him and on the occasion that one did, Kenchi would take that moment to stand back up on his feet and grab his ninjato from the ground.

Hatsugen had succeeded in dodging Kenchi's sweep attack. However, as he charged towards Kenchi, he noticed that he was not even attempting to get up from the ground, instead, he was taking up some sort of stance from his position on the ground. Hatsugen would continue his charge until he was about two meters away from Kenchi. At this point, he would make a sudden change in direction and swerve to where his ninjato was lying on the ground. When he reached the ninjato, he would pick it up and leap into the air above Kenchi, his sword lifted above his head as if he was going to slash downards. Just as he was going to be upon Kenchi with his strike, He would move forwards and land on the ground behind Kenchi. Once on the ground behind his opponent, Hatsugen would aim a vicious strike at the back of his opponent's neck with the heel of his left hand. If this strike connected, he would swiftly transition into a powerful roundhouse kick with his right leg aimed at his opponents temple. Since Hatsugen was behind Kenchi, it would be nearly impossible to see or anticipate the aforementioned combo, making it very likely that the combo would be successful.
