Name: Universal Projectile
Appearance: These were designed in such a way to be able to be thrown, used as arrows, and used as bolts. At the base of the weapon is a small, 2 centimeter long, 3 centimeter diameter nock that allows this to be used in crossbows and bolts. The nock is attached to a handle, with the handle being 8 centimeters long and 3 centimeters in diameter. The blade of the projectile is shaped much like a kunai. The blade, where it is attached to the handle, starts off as 3 centimeters in width before, over the course of 10 centimeters, expanding to 8 centimeters in width. Then, over the course of 35 centimeters, the blade tapers to a fine point. Only the blade of the projectile is sharp. Overall, the weapon is 55 centimeters in length.
Backstory: Shinobi in the past were stuck having to buy both arrows/bolts and throwing weapons separately. This became especially problematic when upgrading or enhancing them. A group of master smiths came together to design a projectile so well crafted that it could be used in almost any ranged application. They technically could be used in melee combat, but you would probably be better off with other options.
