The doctor would catch the head falling in his direction. It was still wolf like in appearance. So, they don't shift back when killed. Followed by how much the man now owed to the Terumi for his brief hot spring visit. Of, course the man was upset by the amount but could you really put a price on the gift of life?

With that done the doctor would take the unconscious wolf with him for interrogation. It would be a brutal one, the Terumi planned on celebrating Halloween and he would get his treats out of his new friend. A defanged and declawed werewolf a fantastic new test subject.
