History: This was a building created by the Second Kazekage Mizuki after several instances of witnessing her shinobi have to hold back during practice so as not to hurt their fellow comrade. As someone who had personally experienced both sides of a spar where one of the participants or more was required to hold back she noticed a recurring issue; At what point does training and spars hinder the shinobi’s ability to thoroughly grow. Thus the creation of this technology was spearheaded and brought to the forces of Sunagakure.

To those who enter it is simply an underground sterile white room filled with four black lounge reclining chairs. Attached to these chairs are headsets that link up to the brain and chakra points in the head and spine, allowing full submersion to the simulation program that will project crystal clear holograms of the users’ onto the field. For the user everything they experience; their surroundings, interactions, jutsu clashes and inflicted damage - is all experienced neurologically as if they were participating in the flesh. [no harm comes to the real body.]

For those spectating in the provided seats placed in a semi circle around the arena - which appears as a large circle, 100 meter radius from the center and stamped with a bronze seal of the Sunagakure ‘Impossible Triangle’ symbol. Surrounding the circle is a 10 meter trench of water being fed through several wall mounted spouts, the water trench meets at one end to form a 30 meter wide expanse of water. On the arena itself are several archways, pathways, statues, trees and shrubbery. All spectators are unseen by the participants and instead of arranged seating there is simply grey misty ‘nothing’.

This is all an illusion, for those spectating it is akin to watching a 3D movie - nothing is real so all spectators are free from danger of stray jutsu or flying debris.

What it does: This system allows participants to fight with full force and ability without fear of harming an ally in the process. It allows a user to assess their combat ability and adjust accordingly and with the utmost accuracy; allowing lethal iterations of training to happen without the consequence of death. Each iteration is recorded for the benefit of the participants’ in an effort to be learned from, each new simulation resets the arena and all inflicted damage of the previous iteration is wiped away.

Trials of up to 4 may enter at a time in whatever configuration of opposition the users’ choose. There is also an option to battle yourself in a ‘Mirror’ style battle in which you truly battle yourself to find your weaknesses.
