Peaking with the Squad

Mission specs:

The Land of Iron. A mysterious turn of events had brought Goto to this new location, one that with its snowy environment would make the young Senju with his silver hair and bright blue eyes feel right at place. In contrast to the Land of Fire, the state of his current location was strikingly different than the one he was used to. But nevertheless, the boy wouldn't say no to a welcome change of pace once in a while. Scouting the area around him, remembering the mention of a certain peak which was considered to be highest of them all, Goto made his way through the snowy and grassy pathways where he could barely walk on. 

If he remembered correctly, there was a grove supposed to be near the summit, one which contained the remains of an ancient asteroid. It seemed like the metals that could be found around there were pretty valuable, so if he was able to get a nice reward out of it he might as well go and take a look. It's not as if he had anything better to do while he was walking around in the Land of Iron anyway. Of course reaching the summit was easier said than done but Goto would probably come up with something either way and figure it out along the way.

Today was a spectacular day in the village of Konoha. With the last of his missions going well, he thought he would get a small reprieve of doing the Hollykage ripping and running. His sister was just down the hall getting her room tidied up while Ishi rested in silence. With everything going on he thought about honestly just going to search for whoever was teleporting him to and fro, but that would be a bit of a pickle since he still didn't know anything about them. A small sigh escaped his lips as he closed his eyes once more and tried to doze off. As his eyes slowly closed. Moments passed before he felt the chill out of the outside nipping at his arms. It took him a moment to realize that he was once again in a familiar area, his eyes shooting open and sighing," Not again...At least he was better dressed for it this time. Ishi slowly began to look around for a moment before hearing his name and moving over toward the voice. Seeing two familiar figures he smiled and looked at them," He isn't Ishi silly. I am. Its good to see you two again as well..I take it you have been well since our last mission?," he had only seen these two once before, but he was thinking they could be good friends.

Climbing his way towards the top, Goto could hear a voice taking him for someone else. When the Senju turned around to see who it was, it came as no surprise. "Ah, if it isn't our future Hokage". By then the real Ishi had shown up as well, correcting Specter about the fact he got their names mixed up. "As our friend mentioned: Ishi, Goto" the boy explained as he first pointed at the blue-green haired boy and then himself. Goto would turn to Ishi since he had been the only one asking an actual question. "I'm doing fine, thanks. I take it you were able to deliver those cookies to that special person?" The Senju remembered the previous request where his companion had asked to leave a specific house to himself, assuming someone dear to him lived there.

The three of them simply standing there in the middle of a climb wouldn't really cut it, so he figured they might as well continue making their way up. Especially since the reason for them being there was to reach the top and gather whatever valuables they could find. "Alright future Hokage, how about you lead the way?" Hoping Specter would be better at finding the way than he was at remembering names, Goto would allow the boy to take the lead. Assuming the two of them agreed, unless they wanted to talk some more, the silver haired would follow behind in the hope of reaching their destination rather soon than later.

There was a small nod from Ishi as Gojo asked him a question," My sister enjoyed them. We both sat down and ate them together after dinner. It was the happiest i've seen her since it started snowing in Konoha. So overall I think it went quite well that da- All things in moderation if you are going to be our future Kage. Can't have you keeling over because of some sweets now can we?," a light chuckle would escape his lips as he turned to look at Spectre. He didn't know if the male was serious or not in his aspirations to become the next Hokage, but he had his head and heart in the right place...if not a little goofy to boot. When Gojo had asked Specter would he like to take the helm as the leader of this mission, Ishi had no objection to it and actually supported the decision. Following behind the two, he would slide his hands into the depths of his big jacket and look around as he walked. The thoughts of what the group would find as they walked filled his brain, but it was better to find out when they got there instead of imagining it. He didn't want to let his expectations down after all.

Goto would listen to Specter as the strange one out of the bunch shared some details about the effect the cookies had on his stomach. "Just give us a heads up when you have to go. I'm sure there are more than enough trees around here somewhere". Lucky for them it seemed Specter was in high spirits after Goto passed him the lead, the boy already envisioning himself as the Hokage. Not that the silver haired would mind, as long as they were able to complete the task succesfully, Specter's speech aside. Now that he looked more motivated than ever, the ashen haired boy would take the lead as he started walking towards their destination.

Following behind, the young Senju put his hands together, rubbing them in an attempt to warm himself up. Regardless of his appearance, his silver hair and bright blue eyes, Goto wasn't immune to cold weather. Nevertheless, he figured as soon as they started to get their walk on the cold would disappear eventually. Making his way to the top, literally, time would tell if it could be taken figuratively as well. Looking around, he started wondering what exactly they would find once they arrived at the location. "I wonder how this asteroid will look" he said out loud. On one hand it was a question to himself but one his companions would be able to answer as well.

A small chuckle escaped his lips as he listened to the small back and forth between Gojo and Specter. The three of them had honestly been getting along very well and he wouldn't be mad if they were put on a squad with one another at some point. They got along very well and while he didn't know exactly how the other two fought, he could affirm that they would protect one another. As they walked he slowly looked around for a tree not knowing if Gojo was joking or not about that, but if there were trees here then....they must have been underneath some of the snow or something. He wouldn't need to use the bathroom at any point so he wasn't too concerned about that...but for Specters sake he certainly did hope that something was around for him to use. Between the three of them he was also curious about what the asteroid would look like, and honestly he was hoping it was sparkling. He had never seen an asteroid before and from what he knew, they were really pretty when you saw them from the sky. Seeing them on the ground covered by snow however could have also been a nice sight as well. "Given the temperature of the area I think it would be a little warm, but not warm enough to cause us any harm...lets just hope it isn't radioactive or anything. We want to keep our hair until we are super old right? Besides who has ever seen a bald Hokage before?," the little quip toward Specter would be the only one the guys would hear for a while, though he thought it was funny at least. Ishi hadn't been paying much attention to their walking path, but Specter had caught an error that could have spelt their doom. Correcting their travel path, they would continue onward toward the peak where their bounty awaited them.

From how the three of them were going back and forth, one would be able to assume they had been friends for quite some time. Although he never really took the time to think about it, Goto could eventually see himself form a team with both Ishi and Specter. But any talks about a possible squad would be for another time, for now he had to focus on the task at hand, which would be finding the asteroid that was supposedly located in a hidden grove. As they continued their journey, all three boys started to wonder how it would look. Hot and bright were the things coming to Specter's mind whereas Ishi believed it would be harmless. At that point Goto simply hoped the ashen haired one wouldn't want to go ahead and try and play football with it, considering the mere size of the thing.

Following behind, the young Senju suddenly got alarmed by the immediate coming to a halt by Specter. Holding up one of his hands, the ashen haired informed them of a ridge, indicating they were walking in the wrong way. "As expected of the future Hokage" he complimented his companion on his catch. Turning around, on the right path this time, the three of them continued their walk, hoping to arrive at the summit anytime soon. After some time, Goto got the impression they were getting close. "Do you guys see that? I think that's the hidden grove" he'd say as he pointed at the highest peak. Picking up his pace the young Senju hurried towards the top, wondering what they would find.
