Serah tried to stay close, but also keep her distance at the same time, never quite sure if Taichi was going to present her with another test to make sure she had learned her lesson. She was a people kind of person. She wanted to like and be liked. There was no doubt that this was going to have to change over time. Her new teacher, or whatever she was supposed to call this relationship they would have, told her about the sad tale that resulted in his Mangekyou activating. It was truly disturbing that one had to go through that kind of turmoil to attain power. She couldn’t imagine what she would have to go through to experience something equivalent. Seriously, she couldn’t think of anything she cared about that much aside from maybe her parents but she’d broken ties with them long ago. This would be a challenge for sure.

“I’m sorry,” was all she thought to say to Taichi. Then here eyes lit up when he said they were going to Volcano country. She would do anything to get out of this god forsaken desert. She’d only come here because it was sort of a safe haven for missing nin. “I’ve been waiting for a change of scenery!”
