Wrong Wire [IO,nk,Seiryu]

Strolling around a square in the Uchiha district, Kozachi was actually working a bit on chakra control. Though she was just an academy student, she knew that as a member of her most esteemed clan (hehehe), she had to outshine most everyone else. Even with the annexation of the villages, the great clans never really stopped making their youth compete with each other. Family was a bond stronger even than the separation caused by war... or something cliche like that. Either way, she was still behind big brother when it came to the level of control she had over her internal energy. Hopefully, with some extra work on the side, she'd be able to catch up to him.

Naturally, Kozachi knew that his talent was greater than hers, and that no matter how old they got, it wasn't likely that she'd be able to keep up to him if she didn't work twice as hard. But that was a sacrifice she was willing to make. Still, even then, her chances of success were low, but unless she had some godly luck, there was nothing you could do about it. And if you can't do something about an outcome, there's no point in whining about it, is there?

So here she was, walking around and around, and hoping that nobody important from the clan called her over for anything. She was getting the hang of it, too, or at least so she felt.

Yet another day had gone by since his training with his grandfather and today was a new beginning. The young Uchiha male rolled out of bed looking into the mirror to look over himself for a moment. Due to his grandfather's unique training the male had been amassing muscle where it had been needed without it making him too cumbersome when it came to moving about. Along with that it also assured that he had been working out all of this core muscle groups, never letting one fall behind. Seiryu had begun to get dressed in his usual attire before a single head popped into his room letting him know that today there was not going to be any training and he had the day to himself to at least have some fun and meet new people. While every other day he had been given this opportunity, he felt as if he continued to work on this path he could easily become a stronger shinobi, his grandfather on the other hand wanted him to make strong bonds.

So because of this the young male began to walk out of the house, only looking back to catch the waves of his mother and grandfather before walking into the inner part of the Uchiha district. Today he had been seeing a lot more people than he usually did, and for good reason. He was usually out way early in the morning where people had been still sleeping, but now since morning had passed and the afternoon was soon encroaching everyone had been out and about. For a short period of time young male walked about greeting those he knew before a small "hello" rung from his lips to someone he had not quite seen yet. There had been many people in the district that he had never met so making friends had been a good endeavor. Whether or not the young girl had responded to him, he would none the less offer a warm smile and continue walking.

She turned at the greeting to see a boy who must not have been much older than herself. Wow, what did you know? Someone... had actually noticed her. It's a good thing I don't like boys, she thought to herself. Well, it wasn't that she DISLIKED them, right? She just... didn't have a problem with them. It was like how she felt ambivalent towards giraffes. She didn't know this guy personally, though she thought she'd seen him before at assemblies... or maybe she hadn't. Did it really matter? What she was curious about, though, is why he'd decided to randomly come up and greet her.

It'd be rude not to respond though.

"Oh, hi!" She said back, sounding a little more enthusiastic than she wanted to. Awkward...

"Did you need something from me?" If he was one of those big "young talents" of the clan like Kenjiro was, then he'd probably come there to pick on her. Ugh, boys. Still, it was too early to make a judgement, so she held her tongue. Best to wait it out and see what his true goal was.
... Kinda like in combat, right? Gah, this was a guy from her own clan. Why was she so suspicious?

The male slowly began to walk over to the female, his oddly colored eyes focusing on her to see if he really had not seen her around before. Nothing came to memory so he assumed that this was fact, but making friends was not bad either. Stopping a meter from her he would smile and shrug," I just wanted to say hi since I had not seen you before, and i'm usually good at keeping track of the people that i knew. So since I didn't...Well here we are. Name's Seiryu. What's yours?," the male stretches his hand out to hers in a gesture of goodwill since unlike most of the people he tried this to, he was sort of sincere about it. Nothing screamed ill or bad about this girl so he could let down his guard and see where it went and if she did turn out to be someone who would cause him harm, well things had a way of coming back to a person.

After the moment she shook his hand or even if she didn't he would slowly move his hand into his pocket and look around before speaking once more," So do you attend the academy? Or do you get home schooled like some of the other kids in the district?," it was a rather harmless question and he meant no malice by it, evident in his voice as he simply stood and waited. During that time he was approached by an elderly woman who patted him on his head and asked him to give his grandfather her regards before she walked off to go home. With a small smile he waved to her and looked back to the female he had just been talking with to see if she had responded or maybe did something in return.

Ehrm... how forward of him. Kozachi was a little taken aback by what she thought, at least, to be his eagerness to get to know someone he hadn't met before. Well, she supposed that she should respond as nicely as he'd done for her. Friends were good, she'd learned. There'd even been a lecture about the will of fire and the power of unity at one point in the academy before. Some real brainy lady had come in and talked to them about theory and fact and what-not, and then she'd hit them with a well constructed whammy about how humans were social beings, and how those without friendship grew to be blights on society.

Some experiments done a couple hundred years ago, when ethics were... less tight had proven this in both primates and normal humans. Those kept in isolation for the first few years of their life came out mentally stunted and aggressive. Either way, that was neither here nor there. She shook his hand warmly, giving him a bright smile. 

"I'm Kozachi." She responded in brief to his first question, unsure whether she should expound further. Nah, of course not. Whether or not she was attracted to him was irrelevant. Even if she was, nobody liked a girl who talked her ass off 'till sundown. 

"I go to the academy, though with luck, I'll be out soon." Seeing the boy's headband (if he was wearing one, of course. If he wasn't, than she'd just wait for his response), her eyes widened a little in surprise. "Whoa, you're a genin already?" It probably hadn't been much of a challenge for him. He seemed like one of those "young lord" types who got along easily with others in his clan.
