Warriors Slumber No More(P, Valen)

It was a mistake.

It was a horrible mistake, when the crimson disks fired out of his blade at point blank range he hadn't taken into consideration the fact that his opponents body was in motion. Both disks of chakra, while not deadly enough to cut something in half like usual, were certainly powerful enough to cause serious damage, even death if they struck the wrong part of the body, like they had. Valen's eyes widened in disbelief as both disks slammed into the throat of his airborne opponent, with easily enough force to crush his windpipe with simply the first blow. The second disk capitalized on that damage and caused the boy to spit out bloodied foam. He slammed into the ground a few yards away, still, unmoving. The sheer pain of the blow must have knocked him out completely. Valen ran over and felt for a pulse and felt for a few moment before it finally went still. He reached up and felt for a heartbeat, eyes frantic and breathe hitching. He couldn't find one at all, the boy was dead. He lay completely still, the bloody foam around his mouth, eyes closed. He couldn't imagine the pain he felt as the first disk struck his throat.

He closed his eyes for a moment before snapping them up suddenly as a realization hit him. 'There are rumors about the Queen being able to resurrect the dead. Maybe she can save him?!' He thought as he instantly sheathed his sword and grabbed both the boys body and the ninjato he'd lent him before running out of the field with the body on his back like a sack of potatoes. Running toward the palace as fast as he could manage to try to get the queen to save the boys life. It was after all, all a mistake.
