a liger - A Liger? Continued - Page 2 Empty Re: A Liger? Continued

Fri Mar 17, 2017 6:37 pm
Komon watched as the liger seemed entranced by its birds pawing at it while roaring intensely. The dumb beast managed to paw itself on its face while trying to swat at them but missed, raking itself on the top of the head. Komon let out an audible as he watched the giant monstrous clutz utterly embarrass itself in front of the village it was hellbent on destroying. He however quickly realized this was a mistake as the damn thing sent a paw crashing down into the ground and swiping near Komon.

His byakugan eyes allowed him to see it coming from the right and he knew his brother wouldn’t have been able to see it coming so he gave a quick call out before acting. “Komori too your right!” He’d yell as he body flickered to the top of a small building nearby. From the top of the building he’d take a moment to catch his breath before looking around at the sheer destruction the beast had caused. Collapsed buildings surrounded the area and people were screaming in all directions, no doubt caved in by stone and slowly dying.

He remembered the feeling of disbelief he had felt earlier this morning when senshi had told him it had already killed 200 people. With the torn apart village in front of him however, those feelings where all but gone. This was reality, and he and his friends would have to be the ones that put an end to the harsh reality.

With his hand resting on his new sword shinigami Komon couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous, nothing in his arsenal aside from maybe the multi shuriken attack could really do any significant amount of damage to a beast so large, he doubted his katana could slash deep enough into this things skin to do any significant damage than maybe the equivalent of a paper cut on this lion tiger hybrid monstrosity. Luckily he had been working on a jutsu that may be helpful in such a situation, but he was going to need a good opening to use it and now just wasn’t the time.

Luckily the liger still seemed to be entranced by the birds in a typical wild cats fashion. Komon would continue to harass it making the birds fly down south where both of the hyuuga and hozuki’s teammates would no doubt be waiting by now. An ambush waiting to be unleashed. The tiger would jump over a couple buildings crushing them with the weight of its paws as it did so and inside Komon could hear the screams of more people. A tear would roll down his cheek as this happened.

He hated the thought of death.. He had been surrounded by it his whole life but that didn’t matter. The shock and disgusting feeling it always brought never softened with repeated exposure, it was always repulsive to him. Luckily this beast was mindless and a murderer, putting it down wouldn’t feel the same as the death of a human, and he imagined he’d be able to deliver a killing blow with little to no regret as an act of vengance. For the families and friends of those it had already destroyed.

Finally it seemed that the beast was making its way out of the civilian area and Komon allowed himself to take a small breath of relief as he realized they could finally put an end to this trail of destruction. That moment of relief was cut short when saw senshi and reizo jump out and deliver a blow and was turned into a bit of excitement.

It appeared the battle started now. Senshi had attacked from one angle and Reizo from another. Komori and Komon would be responsible for attacking from behind the beast in a similar fashion to how the senshi and reizo just had.

Aware that it was his turn to act Komon figured this would be as good a time as any to try out the jutsu that he had spent so long studying with a pamphlet he had bought at a vendor. Afterall he no longer had the luxury of the library ever since youka had killed the librarian. Komon had vowed off of the place immediately after his third preliminary exam, because of the shame he had felt in his actions and had no intentions of ever returning to it. As a result it had become much harder for him to access books on ninjutsu and kenjutsu techniques.

Luckily he had taken the time to scout out several vendors that sold ninjutsu technique information for a price. As he smiled at his own fortune he’d pull a fuma shuriken out of his pocket, letting the ring rest between his index and middle finger. From the top of a building on the outermost streets of the village he’d take yet another deep breath before getting into a throwing stance and activating the lightning javelin technique to increase the potential of his movements. With his left arm extended outwards and forming an L to assist in guiding the shuriken much like a weapons sight would in modern day, the young hyuuga chuunin would flick his forearm forward before separating the two fingers that held the large shuriken in place and allowed it to fly towards its intended target.

As he did so he’d weave five seals and since viper couldn’t be bothered to list what actual seals they were when apping the jutsu I can’t really tell you which specific ones so just guess. As he did so both his eyes, and his shuriken would expand exponentially the latter more than the first of course. This of course was the purpose of the jutsu, not so much the eyes that was just a result of amazement from finally getting the technique down after weeks of practice, the now almost truck sized kunai would head towards the ligers left hind leg and if hitting where intended would leave it incapable of walking.

Powering down his lightning javeling he’d turn his head to look for his brother noticing he hadn’t seen him since the liger had swiped his paw at the two of them. With a bit of panic in his inner voice he’d project his thoughts outward noticibly on edge. “Komori where are you!”

a liger - A Liger? Continued - Page 2 Empty Re: A Liger? Continued

Fri Mar 17, 2017 9:09 pm
For some reason, Komon had decided to yell when using the telepathy seal would have been faster. Komori dropped to the ground in a puddle as the paw of the liger soared over his head, where his chest had just been. He reformed in a prone position on the ground as he placed down a chakra draining seal. He was not entirely sure whether or not this would have any effect on the beast, as it might not even have chakra, but it would not hurt to try. Besides, he had been wanting to expand his fuinjutsu arsenal a bit more, so getting practice in the field was a great pressure that helped refine his rather ugly skills that could compare to coal into diamonds as he would progressively improve his fuinjutsu abilities, even in the heat of combat. It seemed to have little to no effect on the beast, so instead, Komori dispelled it and moved out of the way as the liger continued to thrash at the painted birds. Instead he looked towards his shadow clones attempting to calm the entire village of screaming people. Or at least, what was left of the populace, screaming and running about as towers and other structures crashed down around them. Fires had broken out, most likely from simple activities such as cooking being introduced to more flammable material as the entire structure of homes was drastically changed, giving way to disaster and destruction. Somehow, a combination of a lion and a tiger had caused all of this. The beast was a hulking mass of muscle complete with a set of teeth that were sharper than most swords that the chuunin had seen. The beast then proceeded to chase down the birds further as it came to a clearing. The very clearing where the twins were supposed to lead it, as found out by the massive bastard blade appearing and slicing into the neck of the beast, splattering Senshi with blood, as well as causing the monster to begin to bleed out. Komori cringed, as the sight of blood had not become something that he was used to just yet. Especially after having a man cut in half over him during the chuunin exams, which had showered him in a fountain of blood and intestines. He considered puking, but instead he swallowed down the rising sensation burning in his esophagus as he continued towards the beast. Not wanting to get near it, or the blood for that matter, so he utilized his bloodline and allowed for his hydrification to surge water into his right arm, expanding it to become a massive bulk of muscle to rival that of the liger itself. He withdrew a kunai as he threw it towards the beast at a speed of 165 and a sharpness of 112. He was not sure if it would do any damage, but he did not want to risk getting near it to drown it, which was his original plan.

One of his shadow clones was still back in the village on crowd control when he heard a cry for help. He glanced around only to see a fellow shinobi dropped underneath a burning log. The man was screaming and looking around when he made eye contact with Clonemori. The clone immediately ran over to help as the man continued thrashing about like a fish out of water, “Oh thank the gods! Pull me out of here now!”
The chuunin responded, “Sir, I’m here to help, but I can’t help if you keep moving like that.” Komori’s voice was level and calm, which was usually the right course of action when speaking to anyone panicking in a situation such as this. His soothing voice was supposed to help the other man calm down a bit, but alas it was to no avail. “You gotta help me! I have a kid at home! I wasn’t supposed to be in danger out here, I was just assigned to patrol the village for gods’ sake! Protect the townspeople from thieves and bandits! That’s all! I can’t die out here!” the man continued on and on as he rambled in a manner that showed that he was obviously not calm. Komori bit his lip as he placed his hands down on the ground next to the man. He placed down the seal that his original had just attempted to use on the beast, instead draining the chakra from this man. “Wait! Wait! What are you doing!?” Komori reassured him, “It’s okay, I’ve got you now.” The man continued to protest until the seal eventually drained him of his energy and he passed out. Now that he isn’t thrashing around, I can actually pull him out, Komori thought to himself. He then began to lift the log up as his hydrification provided a bit of a natural protection from fire. However, it was still taxing on him, so he knew that he would need a drink of water shortly. He safely moved the log to drop down next to the man as he scooped and picked the shinobi up and threw him over his own shoulder. The Hozuki then proceeded to carry the man to the remnants of a hospital, where people were beginning to have their injuries treated. He looked to one of the less injured citizens who had been volunteering to help, “Take care of him. I had to knock him out, but make sure that his injuries aren’t too severe. When he wakes up, tell him that he needs to go back to doing his job and focusing on his first priority. Making sure you all are as safe as you can be.” Komori the shadow clone then turned around to assist in other areas of the village to save whoever he could as the true Komori and his teammates fought with the monstrous being that had taken so many lives.

a liger - A Liger? Continued - Page 2 Empty Re: A Liger? Continued

Sat Mar 18, 2017 2:59 am
While Senshi sat in silence reading up on some jutsu written in a lexicon few could decipher, Reizo was waiting patiently on his rock, picking up and tossing small stones. He would flick his wrist and arm in a submarine or sidewinder type throw, seeing just how far he could throw them without moving from his seat. He had gotten so much stronger recently, it was hard to believe he was the same person from the Academy. He was throwing the stones so far they would almost immediately be lost on the horizon or in the tree line, which was a very far distance from where they were. And that was without even putting his legs into it.

It wouldn't be too long, not even a couple of minutes, before he got bored of losing sight of everything he tossed, and so Reizo took to reading one of his many books that he carried with him on missions. He hadn't bought a new one in a while, but The Tale of Naruto Uzumaki was always a fun read. Reizo always felt like he had a lot in common with the hero, but lately his demeanor had seen a shift to be more like that of Kakashi and Sasuke, at least in the first few chapters, of the story. It was interesting how one experience could shape someone so much, but his battle with Maku had deeply altered Reizo's inner psyche. He treasured life as he always had, but he had become a bit more cynical and incredulous toward the harsh realities of being a soldier. He still couldn't find his own purpose, except as a faithful servant to his village. The Chuunin used to treat everything as a game- he respected the fragility of life and he wasn't reckless about it like most would be with this mindset, but to him it was a game nonetheless. Something to pass the time, to learn, and to beat. With various quests and challenges and level progression. There were stages of learning where he'd come to sudden epiphanies in combat, and never view it the same way ever again. Now though, he realized that such thinking was too simple and even a bit naive and dangerous. War was no game.

This monster had taken out over 200 mostly innocent citizens as well as hundreds of thousands of ryo worth of damages. The blonde haired Chuunin wondered how Naruto dealt with losing his friends in times of war like during the 4th Ninja War, or to the Akatsuki of the time. Statistically speaking, Reizo knew that not everyone in this very group would be alive in a few years time. Would he be one to die? It seemed like such weak thinking. An incredibly frail mindset for sure, but Reizo just couldn't push those types of thoughts aside so easily. He didn't want anyone of them to die. It was even possible for them to die today to this beast they're trying to wrangle. But that's why Reizo had taken up the medical arts. It would give him the means to heal and protect his friends, and give him the strength to fight and protect himself.

Most importantly, having the medical specialty gave Reizo the ability to enhance his Taijutsu to grand new heights. He could take hits when his body was quite frail compared to most Taijutsu users, and he could hit harder than anyone else thanks to Chakra Enhanced Strength, which he had been working on quite a bit. He had been putting in a lot of time into getting his chakra control as precise as possible in order to release it in a controlled fashion to artificially inflate his strength. Although Reizo lacked quite a bit of control over shape and elemental transformation, he had become incredibly proficient, possibly even exceptional at controlling how much or how little, as well as where, he expelled chakra. He had also honed his sensory abilities too, constantly trying to push further and further to extend his range. There wasn't much progress yet, but he was certain he would get there eventually.

Breaking his reading and concentration, Komon would come in loud and clear over the telepathy seal, the Liger headed straight for their pocket to ambush it. Reizo spread out from Senshi, giving Senshi the first strike. He dealt a heavy, and likely a mortal blow, but the blonde Chuunin didn't want to let an animal, even one as cruel as this one, suffer unnecessarily. Right as he was about to kick the liger toward Komon, a kunai flashed out of the corner of his eye that bounced off the tough hide of the liger. A small surface wound formed, but it wasn't a deep puncture like the Hozuki had probably hoped for. What did he actually expect to come out of a kunai throw vs this S-class behemoth? The kunai throw had done more to distract Reizo from his target than anything, but he still followed through with his kick nonetheless (195 spd, 165 str; Leaf Strong Wind) that pinballed the liger toward the Hyuuga. It was a powerful round house to the cat's muscular abdomen, it's skin reverberating in waves like a stone dropped in a still pond. A loud crack could be heard on impact, although it was questionable just how much internal damage the attack had dealt.

Komon's giant shuriken (kunai?) followed up to pin the liger in an awkward half standing, half slumped, position. Reizo saw this as his opportunity to go in for the killing blow. He did feel bad for the animal, but death was the only thing that could've stopped its rampage. Just as he had practiced, Reizo focused chakra into his leg and swung it to initiate the Full Moon Elephant, an intense vortex kicking up around the Liger that lifted it out of the ground despite the impaled shuriken (120 power; 205 spd, 220 str; Chakra Enhanced Strength and Full Moon elephant). The Taijutsu user immediately reversed the cycle and the liger slammed head first into the ground, a small tremor and a crater forming as a result of its massive body colliding with the hard ground. With a swift kick to its chest, the liger practically disintegrated into a pink mist, decapitated and with no torso. The lower half would fly deep into the village, probably landing right next to Komori, organs and entrails exposed.

"I think that about settls everything here... where'd Komori run off to?" the blonde would ask telepathically, curious as to what became of their teammate.

And thus the beast died. What an anticlimactic end to a mission. Senshi shook his arms throwing blood every where. All in all he was happy to have this done as he had a lot on his plate right now. Looking at the now dead beast he wondered if they should find some way to dispose of the body. But his lightning techniques would only fry it further and sitting around and waiting for it to be burnt up would take a rather long time. Something he didn’t really feel like waiting on. So those poor villagers were going to be stuck with that rotting corpse. Though maybe they would come out and use the meat and hide from something.

Eh. Whatever it was up to them. His mission details had said to handle the beast and kill it, not spend extra time out here disposing of the corpse once they had finished the mission. He pulled out his seals book and began to read on it again. His eyes roaming over the words, it took him a bit longer to read this book due to having to translate while he read. Though he was getting a lot faster at it, now that he was just over half way through the book. Taking out his pen again he made another note in the margins. He was pretty sure he was developing a good idea as to which seals he should use to enhance certain aspects.

Not even looking up from his book or the notations he was making he spoke, “Komori, Komon how did the village look when you all were done there?” He would continue reading making notations while the two gave their reports. Though he appeared to putting all his focus into the book he was listening to what they had to say. The fact that any of the team had, had any moral conundrum in killing the beast completely flew over his head. It wasn’t like he saw any problem killing a person, let alone some beast that was off wreaking havoc in the country side. He’d actually probably be rather disappointed that any of the Chuunin with him would have felt that way.

After the two had finished their report, Senshi gave a firm nod before speaking again. “Did you two do anything else in the village that I may need to add to the mission report?” He would again continue reading as the two gave the report, nodding along. His pen moving fast on a page as he found a seal that he thought would combine well to make the enhancements for speed and strength together. The seal needed balancers when he began to combine more than one. He already had a strong baseline for what he knew would work for the base seals. He could enhance someones speed, strength, vitality, stamina, or even their chakra with the information he was discerning from the book.

He however knew that with the curse seals he had been reading about, that someone with one of those could boost more than one thing in their body. He wanted the seals he was creating to be capable of doing the same thing. However he had run into a couple snags with his project. The fact that the seals needed to be compatible was making it difficult. Thus he needed to find stabilizers to mix into the seals in order to make them work well together. So far he had found a stabilizer that would work with a speed and strength combination, but only being able to enhance those two together wasn’t enough. He needed more combined methods to add more versatility to the seals.

While yes, just the enhancement he could provide without the threat of death would be a huge bonus to the village, he wanted this to be as perfect as possible. He already knew that the dangerous nature of the curse seals he was creating would negatively affect a persons body if they didn’t take to the seals well enough. If they didn’t have enough vitality to handle the process then their body would suffer. There was nothing that he could to negate that fact, curse seals were inherently dangerous. He thought it quite the feat that he had managed to even find a way to get around the threat of death on a person. He wished that it were possible to go over the seals and make it so that their was no negative drawback when they were applied, but he had come to accept that this simply wasn’t possible.

The seals were being tied to the persons life blood, directly into their chakra system, that in itself was a dangerous procedure. Messing with someones chakra system incorrectly could inflict massive pain and make the person weaker. They would be able to regain their abilities if the seals did not take, but the fact remained that they would be weaker temporarily. That was a risk he thought well worth the rewards he would be offering with the curse seals. Still these stabilizers were extremely hard to come by, he was having to create some by scratch by combining several together in order to get the results that he wanted.

He was also finding that something simply did not mix well together and that there was no stabilizer that existed or that he could create in order to make it work. That was a down fall, but something he was willing to accept considering that he had already made considerable progress with the technique. He looked up suddenly realizing that it had been at least ten seconds of silence, Blushing lightly he began to speak again. “My apologies I got distracted, I’m attempting to create a curse seal that negates the threat of death while also boosting the base attributes of a shinobi.” Senshi paused as he let his monumental task sink into the shinobi before him, after all he would be offering them access to the technique once he completed it.

It was only fair that they knew something about it as well. Since it would save him some time in explaining the technique when he offered to give it to them. With a sigh he closed the book and pocketed both his pen and it into his weapons pouch. “It seems we’ve successfully completed this mission, rather anticlimactic really. Let’s head back to the village, I’m sure we all have a lot we need to do.” With that Senshi turned and began to walk towards the tree line as he did so, he remembered that he hadn’t given any orders for the formation back. It seemed his mind really was overly preoccupied with the seals he wanted to create that wouldn’t do. IT could put the team in danger if he was not completely focused on the mission and the possible threats that existed out here.

“We will head back to the village with the same formation we came here with. Same reasons apply, their could be threats we don’t know about so we all need to stay alert.” Senshi knew the last part wasn’t really needed, but he felt the need to say it aloud. It would help him to remember that he needed to focus on the mission not on his own thoughts and issues. Sighing he waited for Reizo to take the lead before heading back towards the village. He would force himself to focus on the area around them as they ran, making sure that he did not allow his mind to wander any further. Once they arrived back at the village he would speak one final time. “Great job, I’ll go turn in our mission report, if anything else comes up I’ll contact you. The telepathy seals work anywhere for all of us.” With a polite nod he turned heading towards the mission office.

Komon felt worse than he had expected to about killing the beast. Four chuunin was definitely a bit overkill for something along these lines. The destructive power of his kunai had pinned the poor thing to the ground while his brother seemed to be useless and threw a single kunai, not even laced in chakra with the infusion technique Komon and Senshi had spent so long teaching him. He made a mental note to make fun of him for this later as he watched reizo leap into action and deliver a pretty impressive punch to the ligers chest which caused massive bit of overkill if you asked anyone that had seen it.

Blood spattered everywhere and got all over Komon’s brand new blue outfit he had bought after making chuunin. “That was fucking disgusting” He’d say as he spat a stream of blood out of his mouth hoping that the thing hadn't been carrying any diseases. However with the beast dead he’d take the time to breath and allow his heart rate to return to normal before tuning into senshi’s important and necessary questions.

The magnificently bearded but also severely burned man would ask what condition the village was in as he began to fill out reports, and Komon couldn’t help but think back to the liger hopping on top of and crushing the building beneath its paws. “A couple destroyed buildings but for the most part the village is in good condition with a select few towers and houses that got destroyed while the thing was trying to make it’s way through the village.” His eyes would drift downwards towards his brother to signal him to start filling in on his half as the hyuuga chuunin began to peel off the white wraps on his arms.

With his skin on his right arm now exposed he’d be holding the now bloodstained wraps and begin to clench and twist them in order to force the blood to drip off of it so that he may be able to salvage them at a later date. Wraps where expensive after all and there was no need to buy new ones if he could avoid it with a bit of hard work.

As liger blood dripped to the ground from his fist he heard senshi’s brief reminder to the team to stay alert on the way back and he quickly nodded to show he understood before tucking his wraps into his weapons pouch deciding cleaning them would be a chore for a later date, and resting his hand on his sword's hilt for the remainder of the walk back.

a liger - A Liger? Continued - Page 2 Empty Re: A Liger? Continued

The kunai was for contribution, despite the REAL actions that the Hozuki was doing was providing assistance to injured shinobi and civilians in the village. It was during this noble duty that, for some gross reason that appeared to be concocted by his teammate Reizo, the lower half. Yes, half, as in a bloody mess, of the lion tiger monster landed next to one of the Komori clones. The fresh chuunin jumped backwards from where it had landed, organs and entrails and all that fun stuff serving as a reminder to his chuunin exam, where a man had been cut in half in front of him. Not very fond of the feeling of nausea and deja vu, Komori took his mask off as he lurched over and expelled the contents of his stomach out on the ground next to him. After receiving Reizo’s message, he answered back in a passive aggressive telepathic manner, I was in town on crowd control whEN SOMETHING DECIDED IT WOULD LAND NEXT TO ME. The least that Reizo could have done was keep the remnants of the now deceased animal to himself, but noooo, he had to show off. Komori was disgusted by the remnants, and did not really have a way to dispose of its corpse, so he just sort of awkwardly walked away from it, leaving it to the clean up crews to deal with or whatever the villagers wanted to do, whether it be to eat or to harvest its fur or whatever. This was the country, people did weird things with animals sometimes.

For the record, Komori did not have a moral crisis in regards to killing the damn thing, as two hundred plus human lives were worth more than some stupid hybrid. But Senshi probably ignored that as he was too busy reading into some odd book. When asked if he should add anything, Komori considered bringing up the specifics of his actions saving the townspeople but instead kept his mouth quiet. After all, he was a shinobi for the protection of others, and not for the glory and or fame. Upon hearing of this curse seal and death thing, Komori totally tuned those things out as he heard about the boosts they could achieve. He would ask Senshi for one, presumably after Komon, so he was totally in lines for second because Reizo had not called dibs. Blah blah blah, after getting back to the village, Komori was tired so he headed home after saying goodbye to his peers. He then went out of his way to give his twin brother Komon the middle finger. Upon his return, he would be encountered by his pet corgi, named Captain “Komorgi” Einstein, who began to bark as he approached the door. The Hozuki would walk in and began petting the little turd before heading to his room and going to bed.

a liger - A Liger? Continued - Page 2 Empty Re: A Liger? Continued

With the liger soundly defeated, Reizo turned to face Komon, and then to Senshi. The blonde Chuunin had gathered a fair amount of blood on his outfit, but it wasn't drenched like Komon's was since he had so carelessly stepped in the way of the liger's trajectory. He didn't really mind the blood on him, worryingly he had grown used to it. It was a bit disturbing to himself that he had become so accustomed to bloodshed. He never wanted to kill anyone and he even went to great extents just to avoid killing in the past, yet here he was killing for his job on a near weekly basis. At least this time it was an animal, but Reizo was becoming increasingly concerned that he'd become desensitized to blood, killing, and murder. He almost laughed at Komon's disgust as he was showered with blood. Had he really become a killing tool for his village? It was starting to feel that way, and the Chuunin didn't like it. Still, he would faithfully carry out his duties as a Kumogakure shinobi, whatever those may entail.

Suddenly, Komori's voice came over loud and clear. It was as if someone were yelling directly in his ear over the telepathy, and Reizo instinctively raised his hand to his ear where the seal was as if he could move the imaginary headphone away from his ear. He could just shut off the communication altogether, but the Hozuki was brief in his tirade. "You sound a little sick, I hope it didn't bother you too much. You'll probably be seeing a lot more of that to come. I'm sure you'll get used to it," Reizo telepathically told the group, obviously directed at the twins who were being total pansies. They were Chuunin of the most spiteful and gore intensive village, and yet they hadn't even become used to the sight of blood? What babies. Reizo and his team became accustomed to it before or shortly after becoming Genin when they sat through the public execution. In fact, it was pretty common to watch those executions even before then, so he had kind of been used to clean disembodiment before. That one execution of the woman though forever shaped how he viewed gore simply because of how barbaric and brutal it had been. She had her skull bashed in repeatedly with a mallet; it had been everything but a clean execution.

Not to mention all of the killing he had been forced to do between missions and the Chuunin Exams. How did the twins become Chuunin if they were letting a little bit of blood and gore slow them down this much? An emotional response was appropriate most of the time, but to be completely taken aback by it by this point in their shinobi careers was almost worrying.

Tired of roasting the twins, Reizo was ready to head back to the village. He took an interest in the seals Senshi was developing, but didn't feel he was qualified to provide any sort of input, so he remained quiet. Taking the lead, Reizo lead the group through the forest and back to the village. Of course, he would suppress his chakra and be on the lookout for any rogue chakra signatures, just in case, as he had been trained to do and reminded by Senshi.
