Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill) Empty Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill)

Fri Aug 10, 2012 9:46 pm
The wooden boards of the small house which Jigokuha now laid resting in creaked as furious wind whipped through, seeming to threaten to push the whole structure over. The wind went on strong and loud for about a half hour more, dying down slowly yet still whistling through the cracks in between the planks of wood that were sloppily nailed together to form the shack. Jigokuha eventually was awoken by the noise and sat up groggily, stretching out his legs and reaching up with his arms, then rubbing the tiredness out of his eyes and pushing himself up into a standing position. Jigokuha turned to face the back of the shack and stood there, simply looking at the small stove/oven combination and the several cups of instant ramen that lay unopened atop the stove surface. He looked at it for a second or so more and stepped forward, throwing his hand down to one of the cups and grabbing it and a pot up from the floor. Jigokuha stepped to the door and walked out of the shack to walk towards the stream behind the shack, then filling the pot in his right hand with water. He then went back to the shack and sat down on the floor in front of the stove, setting the pot on it and twisting the knobs on it and setting the fire under the pot and falling backwards to lay down. It had been three weeks now since he fled the town he'd grown up in after beating the cruel man Yamamoto Hakusho into his grave and then killing the couple that had raised him for their manipulative ways. Life now had been difficult to live with, but he survived and would strive towards his goal, to find out his own history and pass all trials to discover the truth.

Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill) Empty Re: Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill)

Sat Aug 11, 2012 10:50 am
Kino walked across the borders of the major villages, possibly some minor villages which were unknown to him. Having survived a storm, he was headed to who knows where. He was out of his village due to the fact that he was re-taking the chuunin exams, due to him being a genin of Kumogakure once more. He had been ranked down to genin after being killed by the Deputy Raikage, and another named Kai. Though, both had been reported as most likely dead, the Deputy reported as one hundred percent dead, and then Kai, the other possible killer, was reported as missing. He sighed, thinking, he had no one to take revenge on. He had lost everything, upon his reincarnation he had gained nothing but hatred for the village of Konohagakure, the wanting of revenge for them coming to Kumogakure in the first place, for the attack upon Kumogakure which had led to Kino's death. Him being able to kill the Hokage didn't mean anything, for the fact that he was killed by his own village, and possibly another ninja. Though he hadn't been informed much on the one known as Kai, he simply sighed.

Kino walked through the borders, his cloak covering up every part of his body in some way. The only thing the cloak did not cover was his feet, as that was his shoe's jobs. The cloak had surrounded his body, from the front which there was a part for it to snap on at the top and down, and the back. He had the hood of his cloak up, it had casted a shadow over his face as he walked, leaving it very had for the normal eyes to see Kino's face. The long sleeves of his cloak covered his hands, making it rather difficult for any non sensor to assume Kino's true identity.

He would soon come upon a small shack in his travels across the borders, he would sigh, as it had looked rather, broken, to Kino. He would look at the back, noticing someone. He simply closed his eyes, thinking. Would this be another time for him to be attacked. Possibly, he sighed, opening his eyes and a red glow would come from them, out of the shadow. He sighed, wondering if he would be noticed.

Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill) Empty Re: Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill)

As he lay there on the bare dirt floor of the shack, Jigokuha heard a noise slowly approaching. It was the sound of pressure rising and then falling again down to cause the crunching of dirt. It sounded to Jigokuha something like footsteps approaching. Quickly, being paranoid about having attempted arrest thrown at him again like a few days ago it had been. Jigokuha had thrown off his pursuers barely by leading them into a forest generally inhabited by hunters and lined throughout with booby traps for animals. Luckily, using the Clone Jutsu he had shaken his pursuers off by distracting them with the booby traps already there and a multitude of false copies. But now Jigokuha sprung up silently from his lying position and crouched low, slowly moving his hands together to form a hand seal and create a copy of himself next to him. He'd then carefully slide his foot forward and push the door of the shack open, letting the clone step out into a crouch and step into the sunlight outside the shack to check what was going on.

Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill) Empty Re: Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill)

He would get closer, his sharingan remained active as the door to the shack would suddenly open, and out came someone. The someone had appeared to be a tad bit older than Kino, he sighed, thinking of the past when Kino had fought those who were adults, during that age Kino was only nine. Though, he would rather quickly notice something about this one, his sharingan observed him, he had absolutly no chakra. This would have meant the man was either dead, or a clone. He had gone with a clone since it had appeared that the man had been alive. "Come on out.." He had said, rather louder than his normal voice, however he had still kept it calm. He was rather sure if this would lead to a fight that he could handle it, though he had preferred things not go done that path, he had enough fighting for the two life times he had.

Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill) Empty Re: Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill)

Sun Aug 12, 2012 11:18 am
Jigokuha listened carefully and heard the boy call him out, beckoning him to show his real presence but wondered how the intruder knew the copy outside was a fake. Though maybe he just wasn't the best at creating perfect copies through the use of the Clone Technique. Jigokuha flipped a hand seal and dispersed the clone he had created, then carefully stepped towards the door and the next step leaving him out in the open outside the shack. He turned slowly to the direction he had heard the voice, looking at the ground and simply seeing a small figure. Jigokuha drew his head up and scanned the boy's figure as he raised his head, finally drawing his gaze to the head of the boy. The intruder was almost completely covered by dark cloth all over his body, but one part stood out among his entire appearance. Jigokuha stood in shock, paralyzed by the sight. The eyes.

[Flashback]

Jigokuha writhed in the arms of his guardian, a tall woman with long black hair that streamed down and around Jigokuha's head. His small body was dotted and continued to become wet from the continuous drops of rain that descended from the night sky above. Jigokuha could hear a large commotion all around, yet didn't understand. There was large booms and the yelling of strange creatures and the calls of men, while the woman holding Jigokuha screamed towards a direction where the recipient of her attention was invisible to Jigokuha. The infant continued to look around and bounced in the arms of his protector as the forest whipped by around him, all the chaotic noises continuing throughout the night. Eventually, a man caught up with Jigokuha and this woman, a figure of average height and his body covered by a black trench coat who's sleeves ran down his arms and covered his hands. The man spoke to Jigokuha's protector, loud and intense yet Jigokuha did not know at all what they said nor what was going on. He simply cried, a piercing noise that rang through the forest. At the first sound of his cries, the man who towered above Jigokuha quickly attempted to silence him. But not for long, as a strange black object soon appeared in his arm and pushed him down, making him fall from the branch on which he stood with a loud scream. The woman carrying Jigokuha looked down at the infant with sad eyes, full of emotions Jigokuha did not yet understand or even recognize for that matter. The woman simply whispered something to him, very low and distorted by the yells of creatures and people in the distance. After doing so, the woman lay the baby down on the branch and rapidly weaved her hands together over and over,, finishing with a strange gesture. But when the baby Jigokuha looked up at the woman who unbeknownst to him had relation to him, he only saw a horrific image. The eyes, they now glowed red and burned with intense hatred and power, a strange swirling pattern of black within. The next thing Jigokuha only slightly knew, there was death all around, screams ringing out and fire black as a raven burning and licking at the trees which moaned in pain as they fell over. After that, his mother fell limp, falling off the branch which Jigokuha now lay and leaving a thump on the ground below, silent yet painful. Jigokuha simply cried, for minutes, continuously as he yearned for the woman to rise again and smile at him. But it seemed all too late.

Not a minute later, a strange and twisted form appeared above him, the parts that connected the head that loomed over being deformed strangely. But the face was pale and white, with a strange red ribbon crossing over the face. It took on the form of the head of a hawk, a large jutting red and white beak cresting off the front of the face. The face looked almost spiritual yet terrifying, and Jigokuha was lifted up, and carried away as the screams, death, and burning continued throughout the area.

[Current Time]

The dark red glow of the boy's eyes brought shock and strange sadness to Jigokuha's mind, wondering why the eyes felt so cruel, yet seemed warm and familiar to him. He simply rid himself of the ideas and shook his head, calling to the boy. "What do you want?" he yelled to him, feeling the wind blow his long dark hair and pass over his body, cooling the seemingly intense emotion within.

Kino would watch as the clone had disappeared, at least he had known he was dealing with someone who was alive. He sighed, as the man had come out of the shack, he had still seemed older than Kino, possibly a year older, if not two. The man had seemed rather paralyzed, Kino wondering what had been the matter, in the dark shadow of his hood an eyebrow had rose up, as Kino would begin thinking. He sighed, as the man had not yet said anything, however in a moment he would ask 'What do you want?' "Hello to you too.." he said, sighing, greeting the man "I want nothing." he answered the man's question "I am Kino Uchiha." He said, pulling down the hood of his cloak "Who are you?"

Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill) Empty Re: Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill)

A glint of slight suspicion in Jigokuha's eyes, he listened and observed the boy carefully, tensing his muscles but not moving, prepared for any sudden motions though an eerie feeling told Jigokuha's he'd probably lose if he were to engage in combat. "My name is Jigokuha, if you must know," Jigokuha answered carefully making sure not to accidentally let out too much information. He wondered who the boy was for a bit, but then remembered one of his travels in disguise through Kumogakure. Kino was the name of the young boy who had once been the Raikage, but he had learned on that trip through that Kino had died. Jigokuha thought to himself frantically, attempting to convince himself that this wasn't the Raikage Kino Uchiha, as he had died. It couldn't be him, though, could it? The name matched and this boy claimed to be of the same clan name as the famed former Raikage, the name of some clan called Uchiha. Though to be safe, Jigokuha would not take chances appearing hostile to the boy, as he was afraid. Those terrible eyes he had drilled into Jigokuha's soul, making him appear terrifying even though the boy appeared to be younger than Jigokuha. He smiled and looked at him, waiting for the boy to continue the conversation or to make a move.

Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill) Empty Re: Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill)

Kino watched, as the man seemed somewhat suspicious of Kino. Perhaps he hadn't trusted Kino, or perhaps things would lead to another fight. Things usually had led to a fight when Kino would head to villages such as Konohagakure, the only time things were peaceful for him was when he would be walking to Kumogakure, or when he would stay in Kumogakure. "Well, hello, Jigokuha," Kino said, closing his eyes after taking down his hood of his cloak "how are you?" He said, after opening his eyes to reveal his black eyes, his normal eyes. He had deactivated the Mangekyou Sharingan. Beginning to think, he had begun to wonder about this one, he kept his distance, standing still, they were about thirty feet apart, if not further. He would think, what clan was this one from? Where was his family? Although, it would have been possibly, that like Kino's, his family. Kino's family had died somehow, Kino not really being able to remember, though he was somewhat sure it was on the lines of being a shinobi, in the beautiful art of battle. He began to think, more and more, though no memories returning to his mind.

Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill) Empty Re: Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill)

Jigokuha thought about the question presented, and thought about it. Inside he wasn't really sure exactly how he was. It was strange, he had new memories surfacing to his mind, but wasn't sure what it was about or exactly why. He couldn't find the answers he sought, and now thought he might never find them. And so with that he just looked at the boy, standing still for a minute or so. And then the words came to him as he turned away from the boy named Kino, he who wore the strange cursed eyes. The voice came strong, powerful, yet neutral and questioning. "Well, I'm not sure. You tell me," he spoke as Jigokuha walked away in the opposite direction of the boy, hoping maybe the boy would come with to talk or simply to give Jigokuha the feeling that he was human, and could interact with the living.

Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill) Empty Re: Waiting Out the Storm (Social. Flashback. No kill)

Fri Aug 17, 2012 8:18 am
Jigokuha continued then, along the dirt road, waiting for the boy. But apparently it was he, Jigokuha, who would walk the path alone this time, off to another location, another failed attempt at his objective, another long time of hiding from the law and ducking and weaving through towns as he researched and headed inch by inch closer to having a lead on his own identity. At the moment, he only knew one piece of information as of now of his identity. The word, Jigokuha. It was a strange formation of letters, and awkwardly pronounced. However, seeing as his caretakers in his childhood had lied to him about his parents and history, Jigokuha couldn't even be sure of his own name anymore. It was a strange feeling it was, to know nothing about yourself except the one thing you had to do save any personal goals. All a person like Jigokuha had to do in life anymore, was to survive. To live under the radar, unknown by all he met, for that was what he had to do. He was required to hide the identity he didn't even know from the public, and that principle too did seem quite strange. But it still wouldn't matter. That was what was necessary, and some times in life, what's necessary took premise over what someone wanted, or over the easy path. And surely, as Jigokuha walked, he did not walk along the easy path. And then it came to him. This certainly was the life of a shinobi.

Wind blew through Jigokuha's long, pitch black hair, and would appear to others as something the color of the feathers of a raven, starving for death and wanting to escape the bonds around it. Bbut just like Jigokuha, bounded and chained to one spot to prevent any progress, the raven too was bonded from what it desired, kept away, possibly being kept away in fear of what it might do. However, as he walked, Jigokuha simply kept on thinking, his thoughts always bouncing back to the strange, menacing boy. Somehow, Jigokuha was aware that the sight of the strange boy's eyes, the menacing red orbs that gazed out fiercely, had triggered something he had never known before. Maybe the boy knew something, or deeper than that, was something, from Jigokuha's past? But that couldn't possibly be true, for the boy was but a boy, appearing to be the age of what most students or small children he had seen were. But then, what did Jigokuha know about regular averages of village life. Indeed, his life was a solitary one, one he had come to known of taking many difficult dirt paths. But Jigokuha did have one lead. The boy and his eyes had triggered some sort of epiphany, and now he knew he could study the boy's background when he had a chance, to find out why. The first lead, was his name. Kino Uchiha.
