Shackles For A Sinner [Invite Only]

It was a beautiful day within the village and Fu planned to make the most of it. She hadn’t had a chance yet to explore the entirety of the village and since she had the day off from the exams, today was as perfect of a day as any to go sightseeing. Strapped with a satchel full of raw fish and a pair of cheap binoculars she purchased while within the village, she set out on her adventure, riding on the back of her large brown bear companion, Archie. Fu was straddling the bears neck and the satchel of fish rested on top of Archies large head. As the pair traveled around the village, they would accrue many disapproving looks, but Fu paid them no mind. With the binoculars raised to her eyes in her right hand, she would look all around at nothing particular. With her left hand she would feel aimlessly in the satchel until she secured a fish and would toss it in a manner that would allow Archie to catch it in his mouth without breaking stride. On several occasions she would miss, and the fish would land on the ground in front of them and the bear would stop to secure his treat. After a while, the two would stumble upon a group of what appeared to be shinobi congregating. At first glance she did not recognize any of them, but upon further investigation she would notice that one of them seemed familiar. This person was Kita, the person that had received an implant before her eyes from the sketchy doctor that sold Fu her own set of implants. As the dynamic duo grew closer, it appeared they were arguing amongst themselves about something, and despite Fu’s curious nature, she thought it best not to get involved with her competition. After all, she would get a chance to meet them on the battlefield which was far more informative than trying to figure out whatever they were up to now. Trying to be as subtle as possible, Archie and Fu strolled past the group, keeping about 3M of distance between them. Archie would let out a fart as they passed and Fu would reach into the satchel to secure him another treat.

Murata wouldn't defend him. There wasn't any way out, was there? The boy opened his mouth in protest, but quickly closed it and hung his head in shame. Much as he didn't like it, the man standing before him made a lot of sense. He likely didn't have a choice in the matter either, just like Kita. Even if he did manage to convince the man that there wasn't a reason to bring him in, Kita couldn't ask him to disobey mission orders like that. Kita inhaled deeply, taking in the air as he tried to calm his rattled nerves.

"A-alright. You're right, I'm sorry. I'll come along quietly. If Murata says that we'll go, we'll go. Just... don't throw me in handcuffs or anything, I can walk just fine on my own."

Kita would just have to hope that he could talk his way out of whatever situation would come up as a result of this. Not that it would be too difficult, as Kita hadn't done anything wrong after all. Who knows? Maybe he could even earn his position back in the Chuunin Exams after he was done. Yet before he could give much more thought on the matter, a foul stench began to fill the boy's nostrils. He coughed slightly, and placed a hand against his face to filter out the horrid scent that permeated the air. Kita's head quickly whipped around to find the girl in the alley who had gotten a transplant alongside him, eyes widening in surprise and shock.

"Is that...? Are you...?"

Ban was not prepared for the actions that were about to transpire in just the next couple of moments. Kita was getting arrested by some nameless Hoshi shinobi on the accusation that he received an organ transplant, something that was illegal in 
Hoshi. Murata then tried to get everything in order and not cause any problems, probably planning to discuss the situation with the Hogokage. Kita would at first deny and get defensive but then when Murata showed herself to be on his side, he was willing to comply. All the while, another nameless shinobi from Konoha riding on the back of a bear. All of this early in the morning. It was going to be an interesting day.

Ban would place a hand on Gonk's shoulder as Murata would instruct them to go back to the suite. "Mur, if something is happening involving Kita, I want to be there when it happens. Allow Gonk and I to follow you and Kita." She was curious about how the system would handle the situation. She wouldn't allow Kiri's name to be tarnished by some low-level village.

Ban didn't care about the implant situation if it was true. This was a world where if you didn't do what you needed to get strong, then you wouldn't survive. Ban wouldn't do it herself however, she was too proud of her clan and her heritage taint it with another bloodline.

With the two Kiri ninja speaking with their leader of their intent to leave, all that was left was Kita who had agreed to come along willingly. But as the Nova prepared to whistle the ninja of Kiri turned his head and asked a question prompting Akabayashi to turn his head as well only to see Fu his other mark arriving on a bear. "Are you the other person that was in the alley? Was what my friend here was trying to ask. Odd, that he would react to you unless he'd seen you somewhere before. I showed Murata the picture of you, but Kita you yourself never saw this person correct?" Perhaps they had met before, but he would like to hear what this Fu person had to say.

"Fu of Konoha I am Akabayashi Terumi, Nova of the Hidden Star. Would you spare me a moment of your time? I have a few questions." He would approach this girl differently with his questions, he wanted her to believe only questions would be asked at this time. 

No whistle would go out, but this event was quite fortuitous. Now, he could inquire into another person who had recieved a back alley transplant.

Kita bit his lip, hard. He hadn't intended to throw any suspicion onto Fu. Now, he simply wished that he could have kept his big fat mouth shut. Attention was on her now, and now they would both be placed into the mans custody. He halfway debated trying to give a warning to her, but that would almost certainly throw more suspicion onto Kita. He didn't like this situation, not one bit. Just thinking about it made him feel hot and jittery. In fact, now that he was thinking about it, it almost seemed like there was a certain heat radiating around his liver, the exact spot where his surgery had been performed just a few days prior. It almost burned with the intensity that he was experiencing. The boy was about to open his mouth to say something, then stopped. That would look suspicious. He had no idea how much information they had about his transplant. Heck, he didn't see the Anbu agent until well after he had gotten it. If he revealed anything about a bodily illness around the transplant site, it might make it easier to identify and remove the organ. Kita wasn't about to let that happen.

Kita couldn't simply remain quiet though. Like it or not, Konohagakure was under Kirigakure's protection, and it was Kita's duty to protect its citizens.

"I've seen her before! It was at the Chuunin Exams, during the written portion. They had put us all into the same room for questioning, I saw her there."

Not a lie, though not the whole truth. A pointless half-truth though, now that the boy thought about it. If that Anbu agent was after both Kita and Fu, then he would've identified both of them in that alleyway, and any Anbu agent worth their salt would be able to put two and two together that they had met before. Kita closed his eyes, gritting his teeth and cursing his luck, sweat beginning to form on his face and neck. Was it nerves? No, it wasn't nerves. It was that heat. It burned like a branding iron, marking Kita with the sign of a criminal. He just had to hope that this man wouldn't notice...

"L-Lets just go, alright? You said yourself that you were just here to bring us in for questioning, why are you trying to badger her in the middle of the street? Let's just get this over with so we can all go home."

Kita waited with bated breath, waiting to see what the man had to say.

Biting ones lip and sweating both signs of nervousness. It was easy looking at Kita to tell he was a liar, but this Fu was a different sort. Her face was completely blank, unreadable. She didn't even attempt to answer the questions. It was remarkable how someone could have this good of a poker face.

With Kita's clear inability to decieve, it would likely be upon Fu to lie for him. His mood to praise Fu for her stonewall expression and refusal to answer was almost killed by Kita's opinion of the Terumi just getting on with his job. The man's eyes would look toward Kita's form as he activated his display of power momentarily before returning his attention to Fu.

"Young one, learn from this girl. I want to see you return home. If you are bad at deception don't do it. Also, before you go and make a fool of yourself we do have Stein the S rank missing ninja who allegedly did these transplants in our custody. He has likely ratted you out, as the report from the other Nova reported he merely saw you exit the alley. As a wanderer working for the hidden star and the other hidden villages it is within my best interest to see you safely returned home. So, lets go!"

The man would finish his statement and turn around, before whistling to the original and clone that they were on the move. "Fu of Konoha come along as well!" The original would move with his clone at the same distance apart from the group going to the kage chambers as before.

(If Fu doesn't come willingly the clone uses (insert weak jutsu) to knock her out or something.)

The boy who she had stumbled upon receiving a transplant in the alleyway by the mad doctor would whip his head around to look at her. Fu would notice this action out of the corner of her eye, and she did her best not to illustrate the fact that she had noticed him too. His action was not abnormal as she was riding a large bear in a place where... well no one typically rode bears around. She also had no intentions of making friends with other village shinobi, especially if she were to be going up against them during the exams- it would only make things complicated. It did not help that they had also both participated in some rather sketchy activities and if they interacted with each other it could draw some rather unwanted attention.
 
Fu continued to stroll by slowly on Archie's back. She wished that the damn bear was able to move faster, but he wasn’t the most agile when full of snacks. Kita’s sudden reaction to her seemed to catch the attention of the other person they were with who did not appear to be a part of the Kiri clique. She was about 15 feet away and she could hear him beckoning to her, but she chose to ignore him for the time being- that was until she heard the ally boy snitch her out. At this point Fu had no choice but to show the people around them the attention they so desired, but it didn’t mean she had loose lips. Fu turned her head unwillingly to the side to lock eyes with Kita and she gave him a rather disappointed look. The next thing she knew, the Hoshi “Nova” was scolding Kita and advising him to be more like she. At this point, Fu was entirely confused. Was she in trouble or was she getting a reward? Either way she decided running away was now out of the option. She let out a sigh of compliance and Archie let out a disgruntled “Hmph” as he was anticipating that the snacks would be drying up soon. In a conga line, the group would follow the stranger towards an unknown location.
