Range: Touch
Power: -
Speed: -
Health: -
Stat Boosts: -
What it does:

A-Rank: By influencing the effect of gravity upon a target, it makes said target much heavier, meaning that the gravitational pull is more severe on them, rendering their movements more difficult to perform, but at the same time, imbuing them with more severe impact. Due to increased gravity, a target moves at a reduced speed of 50. Speed can’t be lowered beyond 1, however, if lowered up to 1 by this technique, the target will not be able to move, and if the Strength of the character this technique is used on is 50 or less, then their muscles will not be able to support their weight, and they will instead sink through the floor.

An increase in gravity effect also means that the target of this technique can’t be lifted or maneuvered regularly as described in the Strength Guidelines, instead of requiring an additional 50 Strength to operate at the same level, for example:
If the target of this technique is a smaller summon (5-10m in size), then rather than necessitating 75 Strength to lift them overhead with ease but using both arms, one would only need 125 to fulfill the requirements for the lift.

S-Rank: Like the previous rank, the affectionately called Ultra-Added Weight Rock Technique will influence the effect of gravity upon a target. By virtue of its application, a target receives a penalty of 70 Speed. If the recipient of this technique has its speed reduced to 1 (the lowest possible penalty) then they will be rendered immobile, and should their Strength be less than 70 or less the sheer boost in gravity will sink them through the floor several meters. If in treacherous terrains, such as in sand, this will result in them being buried alive, and should they remain buried for longer than two posts, they will suffocate. Keep in mind techniques like Hiding Like a Mole will need at least 70 power in order to allow the user to regain mobility, same for a technique such as Mayfly, however due to its mechanics, if Mayfly doesn't allow the user to move, it will at least bond its body with the environment and prevent suffocation.

In regards to lifting mechanics in accordance with Strength Guidelines, this technique will add 70 points to the lift requirement, for example:
In the case of small summons (5-10m), rather than requiring 75 Strength to lift them with both arms, one would need 145 Strength to lift such a summon.

The values for this technique are non-scalable. In the event of Light Weight/Ultra-Light Weight being applied to the same target, the technique applied with the highest Vigor will prevail, adjusting the values and either lessening the effects of this technique, nullifying them entirely or not having any effect at all.

In both cases, the technique can be applied via touch, be it to an object, a physical construct created from chakra (such as a rock pillar), items, and even people, including allies and oneself.

Petrification: By mastering this technique at the S-Rank for the sole purpose of petrifying (ie, can’t master the technique for handseals and claim this mastery), the user is able to imbue the target with extra Earth Chakra Nature, causing them to petrify if their Strength is inferior to 70.

Character Specific: -
Wordcount to learn: 2500/4000
Action Cost: 40AP,/50 AP, extra 50AP in order to apply petrification
Mastery: Handseals, Petrification (S-Rank Only)
Bonus Requirements: Earth First Element for S-Rank version
Canon, Custom or Village Exclusive: Canon

I would have similar comments for this tech as I did for the lightweight rock:

- Make this A/S rank. A rank has normal effects. S rank + mastery grants petrified status
- I'm fine with the A rank numbers. Except for the WC to learn. This needs to be increased to 2500
- Can this be self applied? How would this work if applied to an ally? It would be interesting if the wording was adjusted to make the strength buff/speed debuff  variable to allow for some type of compatibility with an ally. Makes it a little more versatile as a tech, meaning you could use it at max capacity against an enemy in combat and also can dial it down a bit to use it with a companion to make them hit harder. Just an idea.

Going through the points made here:
- Made the tech into a A/S-Rank, combining the Added Weight and Ultra-Added Weight techniques into one. Implied petrification can only be mastered with S-Rank.
- WC was from when this tech was a B-Rank, updated it accordingly.
- It can be self-applied, and it can be applied to an ally; however, I disagree that it should be variable in application: as I mentioned the values are non-scalable, meaning that higher vigor will do nothing. This is because the technique itself has no power and doesn't actually confer stat boosts, it just applies an effect to the target's gravity that makes them heavier. As for interactions with allies, I would rather see it being used in a smart way rather than including loopholes for people to use it as they please, meaning if one were to use this on oneself or an ally, they'd have to be considerate about the ally's condition so as to make this a viable application.

Thanks for the edits, and no worries. It was just a suggestion.

Last comment is I think you have a typo here:

I thinkn that 80 should be a 70, right?
