Backstory: After the assault on Sunagakure at the hands of The Leviathan and his armada, The Ragdoll found some of his own abilities to be... lacking. Unfortunately, while he appreciated the power granted to him by his Uzumaki transplant, he knew that it was the least useful out of all his existing transplants. The only true ability it gave him access to was the Uzumaki chakra chains… it didn’t bolster his chakra nor the power of his Ninjutsu like Senju, didn’t provide an endless source of natural energy like the Natural Berserker… all in all, it was essentially just an inferior version of Senju. For that reason, he chose to replace it with a Bloodline that he knew would be useful to him in the future, doubly so when one realized exactly what eye could be found within his left eye socket. However… The Mad Medic truly didn’t wish to lose access to his Absorption Chains… so he set about creating something that would serve as their replacement, and as it turned out, his threads were more than capable of having chakra flow through them in the same manner as the chains. There was only one true issue, and it was that unlike the chains which were capable of passing harmlessly through his clothes, his threads were entirely solid and thus left holes absolutely everywhere. Ahh well, one couldn't expect every technique to be perfect, and it wasn't as though he used armour of any sort.

What it does: Due to the user's anatomy being comprised almost entirely of threads, the user can produce them from absolutely any point of their body, regardless of whether or not there is actually an opening for the threads to leave the body. The threads used by this jutsu are not quite normal even by the standards of EGF users, as the ‘threads’ are actually closer to thickened cords or ropes made from tightly a tightly wound and compacted mass of threads. These masses of threads can range from as small as 3cm in overall diameter, and as large as 30cm in diameter, although in the case of the latter they will expand to that size after they have left the body of the user. The tips of these threads are still as deadly as ever, their sharp tips more than capable of spearing and tearing through anything that doesn't have a health stat equal to or higher than the power of the technique. The user is able to freely control the threads in any manner they see fit within 25m of their position, be it using them to bind and hold their enemies while their chakra is drained, to defend against techniques, or even to try to spear and kill their enemies

The Absorption Threads will drain AP from anyone and anything that they come into contact with, the amount of AP drained being equal to jutsu power, and the user will, in turn, absorb half of this AP drained AP. If the threads come into contact with a person under the effects of an enhancer, then the person would find said enhancer weakened by 25 stats in each enhanced field for each post that they are in contact with the threads. If the enhanced fields return to their base levels, the enhancement will be cancelled entirely and placed on cooldown, and due to the rather forceful way it was deactivated, it will gain an additional 2 posts worth of cooldown on top of what it would already have. If the enhancer is weakened and the user chooses to simply cancel it before it can be further weakened or forcibly put on cooldown, it will still receive an additional post of cooldownNo matter how many of the user's threads come into contact with that character, they will only lose the AP once per post.

The threads are capable of absorbing techniques that they come into contact with, provided, of course, that the threads have a superior power stat than the jutsu that they come into contact with. All techniques that have their chakra drained will immediately begin to fade out of existence even if said techniques once possessed physical substance, like for example Earth and Water based techniques. This is mainly due to the fact that each and every cell of those techniques is infused with chakra, and after Absorption Threads have drained that chakra the cells will destabilise. There is no limit to how many techniques can be absorbed per post if the threads are more powerful than them, however, the user will only receive AP equal to the base cost of the first technique that they absorb per post. It should be noted that the threads will not absorb the techniques of the user.

It should be noted that the threads must be outside of the body of the user actually to absorb jutsu, so the user cannot simply say that they are immune to attacks due to this being active because their body is composed of threads.

So it's just a different version of your Absorption Chains only utilizing your threads instead of chakra chains, nothing else is different?

Edited this to have the same edits as Absorption Chains [V7], as this technique is essentially just using Tau Threads in place of Uzumaki chains

Updated

Gave the ability to clash with and absorb more than 2 techniques per post, however I changed the way it worked so that the user only receives AP from the first technique they absorb, added a clause stating if an enhancer is weakened then cancelled it will give an additional post of cooldown. Removed mentions of Sharpness, and Taijutsu/Bukijutsu Manoeuvres
