Akai Te Empty Akai Te

Sun Aug 24, 2014 3:49 am
Organization Name | Akai te
Akai Te Operat10
Originating Land | Land of Birds and Tea
History | Throughout history, there have been many great ninjas to grace the world.  Some of which have sewn the seeds of peace, inspiring their comrades and the people of their lands to do great things for the betterment of all.  Some of these ninja watered the garden of peace with their blood, their sweat, and their tears.  They gave everything until there was nothing left to give except their lives, and even then they did not falter.  The opposite side of this coin, were the men and women who only worked for themselves.  Slaughtering anyone who would dare stand before them, be it man, woman, or child it mattered little.  Their path was paved in blood and gold as they either succeed or were cut down by those who called themselves heros working for the side of good.

The operation marked by the red hand are neither of these things.  Morals, justice, villainy these things are but words to describe the job they are performing.  Throughout time there have been many mercenary groups, and yet all of them are but the shadows of the Red Hand.  Each group sits in their palm as their true goals are accomplished in secrecy.  One after another, pieces are laid on the board, to be moved and removed by the whims of the group.  To really understand the inner workings of one of the most influential and yet hidden groups, one must look into their past.  It reaches back far, farther than most can remember, and yet it is only recently that the mark has began to resurface.

The group has its roots from before the volcano had ever surfaced.  Then it was simply known as the Avian Trading Agency.  A well renowned trading company that hailed form the Land of Birds.  They were remarkable in moving goods from this place to that place with extreme and unrelenting efficiency.  The distrust the villages had for one another would only work to increase the revenue the company received each year, as everyone went through their representatives to move goods, not wanting to only trust in the other villages.  The company itself utilized very few ninja, and predominantly was civilian ran, which is one of the reasons it was trusted so well, after all weren't regular people more trustworthy.  The board of advisers consisted of 13 individuals who ran the company and over saw each aspect of the company.  In truth though, there were only two members that mattered.  Kirito Tomazaku and Toshen Takanaka held the majority of the companies stocks and were the original founding members.

Kirito was a native to the land of Birds, and the latest member in an old family of merchants.  His ascension into the top tier of society was more a matter of time than anything else.  Indeed, he was trained by the finest business men of all time, and he quickly took over the family business.  It was a simple one that moved goods and services from place to place, however it lacked the global control that he was destined to have.

The opposite side of the coin was who would become his partner in time.  A street urchin named Toshen.  Born in the land of tea, he was an orphan who quickly learned the ways of the world in the fastest and most brutal way possible.  With no means to support himself, he worked by stealing and hustling everyone around him, not to live comfortably but as his only means of survival.  It was a chance meeting that brought the two together, and it was this encounter that would in time change the world.  In a routine business trip, Kirito made his way to the land of Tea.  There he was pick pocketed by a man of similar age, an impressive feat considering the amount of body guards that surrounded him.

It didn't take long though to find the man and have him brought before Kirito.  Thinking his time was done as a thief Toshen was resolved to accept his punishment.  However, instead he was offered a job.  To work for the company and ensure others cannot steal from them.  Who better to protect them from thieves than the best thief of all.  Reporting directly to Kirito, Toshen soon found his abilities to navigate the political nature of a business was even greater than his ability to steal.  After all, it was just about knowing a mans secrets, then you were simply rewarded for keeping them.  In a matter of 3 short years he had gained enough influence and respect that he landed a seat on the board of advisers.  The second day after his new found promotion, he was invited by Kirito to have dinner with him at a restaurant that he owned.  It was here that the Avian Trading Company was born.  In a simple dinner they talked over their plans, and launched the company, taking Kirito's family business to a level that had never been seen.

It only took 5 years and both men had quickly risen to have more wealth than entire countries.  Nothing was impossible for the two, as with the capital that backed their investments they could grease the wheels and push through anything from illegal goods, to legislation making the acquisition and allocation of goods easier.  Once the world had been so opened up to them, they were able to initiate more and more nefarious plans.  The problem with the acquisition of money, is that it always leads to a desire to acquire more.  Like drinking water that instead of quenching ones thirst, it only made one desire more.  Using the facade of the legitament business, the two men started a new set of sales.  Hiring missing ninja from around the world, they began acquiring the DNA of the greatest clans.  Selling them to the highest bidders, men who had means but no power soon found themselves as strong as ninja much higher in ranking than themselves.  All the while the pockets of Kirito and Toshen only got fuller.

Acquiring KKG that were hidden from the world, the two had been granted unnatural long life, keeping the most unusual powers for themselves in the event they were discovered.  As the other members of the board grew old and weary, the two retained their youth.  It is unknown what could have happened had they been allowed to continue.  Stagnation had begun to take hold as their trade plateaued.  The next natural course of action was to start a war.  Owning the weapons, the bandages, they would be set to make even more money than before in the event of a war.  However, while the plan still was laid on the table a distant rumbling could be heard.  It was then that the volcano erupted and the world was changed.  The Avian Trading company lost to the pages of history, and the two known as Kirito and Toshen thought to be killed in the violent after math.

It is unknown how they survived, and a complete history of their actions is only known to them.  In the aftermath, they sought to rebuild.  Reorganizing themselves they re-instituted the trade company from old.  Finding their safes and hidden stockpiles, it took almost no time for the two to acquire an arsenal, and set up their own bases.  Watching the world be built around them, they inserted their influence into it.  They were there for all the great wars, their whispers in the ears of all men who did evil.  The two, in an attempt to maintain the safety of their organization set up two, independent and self sufficient bases of operation.  One located in the land of Birds, and one in the land of Tea.  Each man returning to their home land.  Stepping out of the shadows they have become notable public figures, working to build peace and understanding.  To the world at large, it would appear they were simply like minded individuals, impossible to know that they were in league together from the beginning. To the public they started a trade company, with purpose to build trust between the villages. While history had forgotten their exploits of old, it seemed to anyone who looked to just be two strangers coming together to work for peace and the betterment of the world as a whole. While in truth, by bringing the trade company back from the dead, they were free to move their goods to each other whenever they needed as well as supply the Akai Te.

As they became advocates of peace, a new mercantile group rose across the boarders.  Quickly recruiting only the most lethal killers.  It seemed almost over night, the boarders became an even more dangerous place.  Caravans and other such travelers and tradesman quickly began to loose their wares and found their men killed in some situations.  Plastered across the crime scenes was one consistent factor.  A bright red hand print from the blood of the victims, in the center a black skull.  It became a symbol of terror, of fear, of anarchy.  People came home terrified to find the mark on their doors, knowing what they would behold should they peak through their windows.  With this development the Avian Trading Company soon rose to higher prominence. They suffering loses as well form the group only aided in the guise. Toshen and Kirito had no problem ordering the death of some of their nameless employees to better their story.

The Akai Te works in three distinct groups to ensure their power.  Kirito works across the East, while Toshen is in the west.  Both men using their covers as political authorities of peace gain unique insights, and are able to keep their illegal operations working through the running of the Avian Trading Company.  A new individual however was needed.  A man who could take the fall, and blame for everything that was going on.  He was meant to be the face of the operation, and as such he was given all the powers that Toshen and Kirito had obtained.

Terakon the Red was born to lead the group.  His past, hidden from the world and how he became the leader of the worlds most dangerous group unknown, he now works as the boss for the Akai Te's illegal activities.  Taking jobs from anyone with the ryo to pay for them he ensures the continued revenue into the group.  The Akai Te own and operate numerous smaller mercentile groups, and even some private protection groups.  In this way they have legal and illegal dealings, giving them the capabilities to strike around the globe in a moments notice, from nowhere.  With such a large shadow, it has allowed the important members to stay safe, and only the most menial of their soldiers to be captured or killed.

However, things have changed and the group is working more and more in the open.  No longer hiding themselves, they now making their move to make a true claim in the world.  While the great nations and the hidden villages continue to lookout only for themselves with idle hands, the Akai Te remains busy.  The red hand plastered across the boarders, they now seek to grasp the minor and major hidden villages as well.

Joining Requirements |

Hierachy | The leaders - Kirito Tomazaku (Identity hidden)
Appearance:

Stern and serious are the easiest ways to describe Kirito.  His training in the art of business has led him to get to the point in discussions, and has given him an unnatural gift in reading and gauging individuals he comes into contact with.  This gift is what gives him the power to hand pick the best people for the job, and knowing who can handle their assigned tasks.

Toshen Takanaka (Identity Hidden)
Appearance:

Toshen represents the more laid back of the duo.  He is often seen lounging in meetings, and smiling.  His background has left him to have a different look on the world, and keeps him from taking himself to seriously, despite having lived so long with so much wealth.  He still sees himself as that street urchin and therefore takes advantage of life when he can.

Terakon the red (Leader of the Akai Te Mercentile Group)
Appearance:

There is no information on Terakon.  His attitudes and personality lay hidden even from the few select members he interacts with.  He has been called machine like in efficiency, and as cold and calculating as any individual ever known.  He has proven the optimum leader in his assigned task.

Outside of the 3 main leaders, the organization has a wide array of individuals.  Many are powerful missing ninja in their own right, but many also reside inside the villages, their true intentions unknown to those they work with.  Secrecy is absolute, the foot soldiers often not knowing who their boss is, and sometimes not even knowing who they are working with.  Masks are often worn while performing jobs for the group, many times orders coming in only hours before the appointed job.  Meaning some members have never even seen the faces or interacted with the other members except for during jobs.  In even more odd situations, they may work with other members of the Akai Te in their regular lives, and never know it.  The efforts to maintain such a level or organization is grueling, and weak links are cut away at the first site of weakness.

Akai Te Empty Re: Akai Te

Wed Nov 26, 2014 2:25 pm
The man exited a carriage and made his way into a small seemingly abandoned building.  Everything from his suit to his shoes displayed an aura of wealth.  Wealth beyond any one normal person, wealth that rivaled the Daimyo's of the different countries.  As he made his way in a collection of individuals could be seen surrounding the building.  This coalition of guards consisted of Samurai, shinobi, and thugs.  Each with murder in their eyes, they scanned the area.  Trained, they kept watch.....

Inside a man lounged on a couch.  His suit also displayed wealth, even if it wasn't to the same degree.  Bespectacled, he had a smile on his lips as he saw the other man enter into the room.  "Kirito, its been to long, I take it business is still going well?"  a light laugh.  The one known as Kirito however, merely shrugged as he lit a cigarette and began to take a deep drag.

"Terakon here yet?"  was all he said as he sat on a dusty chair.

"No no not yet, soon I figure, I am interested to hear what you have to say.  We have stayed so low for so long, thought maybe you had croaked on us."  This one, Toshen had a way of turning a simple sentence into a conversation.  Kirito however, never wasted a word.  As they sat and the smoke began to fill the rafters, a final figure lumbered through the doorway.

This man was dressed all in black and crimson.  A harsh jagged mask covering his face.  Not a word was spoken, though it was clear that this man was the one they had been waiting for.  On his chest a giant red hand had been placed.  As if stained there by a victim attempting to push him away.

"Finally, it is time to begin" Kirito remarked pulling out another cigarette form his jacket.
