The watchers on the wall kept growing in numbers, as a tall figure clad in a red hoodie and dark pants with flowing blonde hair joined them, a rather enthusiastic lad by the looks of it. He announced his name, and asked who was fighting the bijuu. Kaito felt the need to answer those in succession. “Well, I’m Kaito, this is… erm… Killer, and the lad is… ugh… underaged, I guess.” Not two minutes into meeting them he had forgotten their names. “Gotta get that checked, might do me dead with the wrong people.” “And, erm, there was a lad fighting it, but--” As he tried to figure out where the lad had gone to, the beast’s head recoiled, as though it would be in pain but just stunned, and then, out of nowhere, it’s head split wide open from a stream of pressurized water. Kaito was startled when that happened, mostly because he had no clue where the man had moved to after initially disappearing from his sight. “I’m too slow”, he realized sourly.

Without being given much of a chance to relax due to the death of the giant creature, the ninja formed clones of himself, one of which came to relay to them the information that if they failed to provide him with a sealing specialist to help him trap the creature within himself, he would destroy the village. Kaito looked around himself. “Anyone knows how to seal that thing? No?...”

He looked at the kids beside himself. Did they ever draw blood? Did they ever drink alcohol? One wouldn’t pass through The Gates if they hadn’t drank alcohol or drawn blood. It was known. “Well, we’re just gotta be willing to die, I guess.” He placed his right hand on the hilt of the katana, and his left hand rested on the hilt of his wakizashi in a reverse grip style. “If we’re to die, it must be with weapons drawn. Elsewise we will not pass through The Gates. It is known.”

However, a figure joined the original lad in the middle of the field. “Oh wow, this is getting interesting.” Kaito kept his hands on the weapon’s hilts, but slowly his grip grew lose. Eventually, the figure struck the lad in his chest, and with a faint green glow, drew the essence and body of the gigantic beast with the skull split in half, and in an ethereal motion, the beast drew into the lad. Kaito had just witnessed the sealing of a tailed beast, the birth of a fabled Jinchuriki. What did all this mean to Kumogakure, that was the final question. “Well, I hope you were drew blood and drank alcohol. We might be needing it soon.”

The lad gave quite the ceremonious speech, a tall order of kneeling for living, or dying for the husk of a village that barely managed to survive a one man invasion. Well, two men invasion, even though both men cane individually, one after the other. As Kaito tried to figure out what to do, Kira beside him stashed her flask comfortably before leaping off the wall. The former cook shook his head, and turned towards the boys next to him. "Alright, follow her lead and you might just live to die another day." With that, he took a leap of faith.

Jiro practically bounced in excitement as he watched the end of the fight. He could feel his pulse quicken slightly. He turned to Kaito and gave a wide smirk. "I've shed blood before....never drank." Although that sounded like a damn good idea in that moment. Maybe he would try if they ever survived. He then listened to the man's speech. "He can't be that bad..." With that, he made his way from the gate and to the outside of the village.
