Big game hunting (Ryuka)

Tonight was a night of wonder and excitement as Hoshi had managed to encounter something. Hoshi had been wandering the deeper forests nearby his home to perhaps find some prey to eat for lunch, Yet what awaited him was a figure in the darkness slowly moving. It looked huge yet exact details were unknown. Hoshi didn't want to know more about this beast... Only the fact's that he could hear him moaning and see the non humanoid shape. This in mind Hoshi decided to prepare for the hunt of this unknown beast. 

He rushed to his shack as soon as possible to begin the preparations. To hunt a beast like that perhaps now would finally be the time to start learning how to use that katana he bought? It was bought simply out of a desire to learn how to actually wield a blade to fight against Ryuka, Since in all their bouts they haven't truly fought within their comfort zones. Finally Hoshi would be able to use this well, Learning within Ryuka's footsteps to learn the way of the blade so that not only Hoshi, But Ryuka can also have fun fighting. The hunting Knife Hoshi recently acquired could also be used to great effects after the beast had been slain

Speaking of Ryuka, Hunting whilst learning how to use a blade could be a lot easier with that genins help as ,In Hoshi's mind, He's superior to Hoshi and so would be able to help him out a lot both in combat and in training... Though this fact wasn't an easy pill too swallow as it means admitting Ryuka is better than him. But he gladly swallowed it as the truth, For now at least. Now with the mental part out of the way he just needed to write the letter, To which it needed to be much better than his previous letters. "Ryuka. Within the Black Forest I managed to spot a terrific looking beast. Would you care to join me in hunting it down to prepare a massive meal for you, Me, Zyxis and Natsume. Whilst you prepare make sure to bring a katana. It's a pretty big beast of around... 4 metre's tall? Give or take a metre, See you at the village gate 8:00 A.M. From Hoshi."

This was sent the day previously as Hoshi was currently at the village gates, Equipped with a katana on his back and a hunting knife in his right pocket ,sheathed, and even 2 bottles of water and an apple just in case Ryuka would want one after a battle with the beast. "No one here yet... Though it is 6 A.M right now I suppose... I'll just wait here and for once not sleep." he was talking to himself since he was bored out of his mind waiting.

And yet Hoshi kept waiting and waiting. Ryuka never arrived. Perhaps for once Hoshi was disappointed at Ryuka's inability to arrive at a scene and help him fight, So Hoshi went out to hunt for the beast himself. Yet once he arrived at where he initially found the beast. Nothing was there, Not a trace of it's existence to be found. This upset Hoshi greatly as only just the day before was he looking forward to a massive outting involving Ryuka and learning how to use a blade with him in a great and glorious hunt. With the actual thing being nothing of worth as it's seemingly disappeared. Within this disappointment, Hoshi somehow found the resolve to try something else this day! Leaving for the training grounds to use his gates technique to a much greater effect. Perhaps even begin learning a new way to use the power of gates?
