A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill) Empty A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill)

Wed May 23, 2018 5:41 am
Tadashi was strolling through the Downtown Konoha. It was midday with white cirrus clouds and the bright sun shined beautifully upon the horizon. So as you could see, it was a pretty sunny day. So sunny that it was very hot also, reaching from 85-95 degrees Fahrenheit. Tadashi had to unzip his jacket because of he was sweating a lot. He grabbed his canteen of water which was filled to the brim mostly because of the ice that was taking up a lot of space. He twisted the lid open as he gulped down the icy contents of the bottle. He put it back in his one strapped backpack. He wiped off the crazy amounts of sweat off his forehead which was clouding his vision. Whilst he was walking down the Downtown of Konoha, he viewed many people shopping for items, food, and other necessities at the Ichiraku Ramen Resturant, a Clothing Store, and the Ninja Shop right across from him. He remembered the Ninja Shop and Ichiraku Ramen Resturant very fondly as he purchased his very own Katana on his back right now from that Ninja Shop. It cost 1000 Ryo, and he acquired the money from a mission. He remembered going to Ichiraku Ramen so many times because of the mouth-watering, fragrance smelling ramen. Just remembering the tastiness of the food made him almost drool. He had a small piggy bank consisting of a frog opening its mouth whenever you would want to get your money. He opened his piggy bank as he saw nothing but cotton and dust.

The crimson-haired boy sighed, "I should have asked Mom and Dad for money before I came out here." The crimson-haired boy said in dismay. For the life of him, he couldn't remember going to a clothing store. He looked at the place once more as he saw through the glass window, it read on the left side, "GIRL GET YOUR GAME ON!" Tadashi saw right in front of him girls lining up to enter the clothing store. From the see-through glass, Tadashi viewed pictures of models wearing luxurious dresses, shoes, high-heels, tank tops, jumpsuits, etc. Tadashi felt warm bodies push him out of the way as he fell straight to the ground. He flinched a little bit because he hit his bottom on the hot, dry, and solid ground and because he was shocked that he was pushed to the ground. He saw girls yelling at each other saying things like, "You cut me!" or "No cuts, no buts, no coconuts!", the crimson-haired boy couldn't pinpoint exactly what the girls said since there were so much of them and the sounds overlap each other, but it was something along the lines of that. Tadashi clearly annoyed got right back up, dusting himself off.

"Of course girls would try to kill themselves when they're trying to get clothes."

A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill) Empty Re: A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill)

It was a hot day for patrol, and here shinoskay was... slacking off for once as he stood on a roof top near enough to over the Ramen shop that he often caught wafts of smell from each dish cooked. Normally one would just get use to a smell but because the boy was two stories above the shop the wind would kick the smell around so that for the puppeteer, he would rotate from having this delicious smell to not having it. This was actually why the boy chose to sit here, overwatching the many shouting and crazed females after whatever it was they were after, he easily was outside of the chaos and got to enjoy something mildly thrilling.

The day was hot but Konoha's great and common breeze counteracted the heat, while it would be stronger down on street level it was probably blocked by so many people and so instead the streets were just heat pits full of sun and body heat.

Shinoskay was semi sitting, semi laying, back on the ledge of the rooftop he was on, there was an overlook shade on this roof ledge, for some reason, probably because it was a common lookout spot for other patrolling shinobi.

A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill) Empty Re: A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill)

Tadashi angrily would storm off, just a few meters away from the area, trying to get away from the commotion. He would then ponder for a moment, thinking off a way to cool off from the INSANE heat. "What should I do to stop this insane heat?..." An imaginary lightbulb appeared just above his head as he began to walk towards a building, returning to his previous area. The crazed antics of the girls began to cease, but you could still hear nonsensical chattering. The boy began to concentrate without any hand seals, channeling large amounts of chakra in his body. The chakra then targeted to the soles of his feet, showing a coating of blue energy around the area. He successfully performed the Surface Walking Technique with little to no effort. With that technique, he ran up the building, defying gravity with every single step as he reached the top.

Instantly, he was hit with a cool, nevertheless a refreshing breeze of wind that satisfied his needs. He should do this more often now. He sat down on the rooftop, no it was more like laying down while stretching. When he was done, he looked to the right and left. He didn't see anything to the left, but he saw someone to the right, semi-sitting, and semi-laying. The crimson-haired boy decided to introduce himself, as it would be the most polite thing to do rather than staring at the guy blankly.

"Hey my name is Tadashi, Tadashi Namikaze, and your name is?..."

A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill) Empty Re: A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill)

Tue Aug 07, 2018 8:34 am
From the blistering heat, Suzume bothered to go out in public to get a set or two of clothing suitable for summer. She got up early, for two reasons. One, it would be cooler before the sun was all the way up, and two, to avoid a large crowd that she had quite the enmity for. While she got what she came for without having to bump shoulders every two steps, she took so long that this would be the case leaving the store. Some girls attempted to push her out of their way thinking she was trying to cut in line as she left, to which she ignored the verbal whines and simply shoved through their arms, without saying a word. Before walking out the doors, Suzume changed into a tank top and short shorts in one of the changing rooms - clothing she was definitely not used to wearing. Looking at herself in the mirror in such little cloth was strange. Having so much skin showing made her somewhat uncomfortable, but not nearly as uncomfortable as it would be wearing long sleeves and pants in such high temperatures. Not long after finally leaving the store that was now packed with crazed females cat fighting over the last shirts in the styles they wanted, Suzume began to sweat so much that she could have contributed to adding some humidity to the dry day.

Wanting to get away from the fuss as soon as possible, Suzume had the idea to take a route back to wherever she was headed to next by taking to the rooftops. Upon jumping from one roof to the next, she would come across Shinoskay. She figured to greet him with, "Hey, what's up, Shinoskay?". She realized that she might have come off as mean or rude with the interactions she had with the other genin before, calling him a freak on one occasion or another, and thought to try to be nicer this time. He was with another male, one that she never met before. Maybe should would introduce herself, but she grew shy of the stranger and instead gave a tiny smile his way.

In what normally would be a rather abrupt occurrence, if it weren't for the fact that Shinoskay was several times faster, in his lounging and observance of the commotions about the area... Someone came up and upon him, though, they seemed more shocked by this then he was. With a mild chuckle, the boy would nod from his partial sitting-partial laying position and offer a sideways spoken reply "Shinoskay", normally the boy was a stickler for manners and such but today he just couldn't be bothered to stand up, bow, state his full now, or any of that. His white mask would hide that he had spoken to the side but for the keen eared it was obvious.

It was about this time that Feza would arrive, oh what a coincidence that she had made the choice to feel guilty for been weird or anything, the boy was seeming to start embracing it and was filling into the title of 'freak' or such. Everything else about him was still his usual get up so this was likely why Feza was able to instantly recognize him, "hello Feza." He barely moved as he replied to her and it was clear that at this time and in this heat he really didn't want to.

A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill) Empty Re: A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill)

The crimson-haired Genin would wonder why that guy would be chuckling at what he said. Was it the manner he said those words, his accent, or his body gestures? Then it hit him, his shocked face, Tadashi was a guy who always makes exaggerated faces, usually for fun when he was a little child, but it stuck to him like glue whenever he liked it or not. It was probably the reason why the boy's face could spell out his amusement. When the stranger simply said, "Shinoskay.", then before Tadashi could say anything, he would say "hello Feza.", the boy was pretty interested as he hadn't heard a name like that, never before in his life. He would then look at the girl who appeared before them as Shinoskay and her. The way that they were talking and looking at each other, he would assume that they already knew each other. The crimson-haired Genin would put one hand on his chin, eyes looking straightforward with an amused and curious glint in his golden eyes, "Shinoskay, that's a name I've haven't heard before, which clan are you from?" Tadashi asked.

Then, he would look at the girl who gave him a soft smile, as he smiled back at her. He would then extend his hand out to the girl as he asked, "What's your name?"

A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill) Empty Re: A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill)

The dramatic expressions formed on Tadashi's face made for quite a more than normal introduction this time around. While this was an odd trait, she wasn't about to harass the genin as she had with Shinoskay. At least, she didn't know him well enough to yet. To her, it was all in playful humor - but that tends not to be good for a first impression. Avoiding eye contact, Suzume replied, "Well, you heard Shinoskay." Her arms were hanging behind her back, her thumbs twiddling out of apprehensiveness of the stranger's presence. She didn't have the intention of running into anyone today, but chose to stop out of sheer curiosity. There would be no escaping from the heat, but maybe something interesting enough could happen to at least be entertaining to the point that the day's temperature would be ignored. To distract herself from the miserable conditions, Suzume opened up a bit of a conversation starter - an unusual thing for her to do, but she didn't want to stand in awkward silence. "What are you guys doing up on the roof?" she asked.

A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill) Empty Re: A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill)

Something about what Tadashi said had tickled something inside the boy, Shinoskay's head would tilt slightly, no more then 3 degrees but just enough to be noticeable, before he would then finally decide to stand up from his relaxed position. The notion that someone was asking him who he was, about his family, about his name... It drew something from him and urged him more so then the heat oppressed him.

The boy would rock himself forward, rolling first more firmly on his butt and then further to on his feet before smoothly standing, his arms slightly thrust forward for balance and extra momentum to aid in him rolling onto his feet to stand.

once standing, he would stand with good posture before then he would then speak with all the pride he could muster "I have held many family names but none that I can call mine, I don't know of any clan and I only have this." He takes a half step to pivot sideways in relation to Tadashi before then making a slightly exaggerated shrug that would cast his reinforced, Hooded, Jacket to catch the wind and get pulled back and off of hi from his arms. The only thing that would keep the coat from parachuting off of the boy would be his arms, as the hot wind pulled it back and up off his back. Before Tadashi's eyes, under the lifted coat there would now be a 3 dot symbol, almost reminiscent to how most Uchiha's eyes look but orange, for just long enough to see the symbol. In one bottom dot was the symbol for earth and in the other bottom dot was the symbol for the long, long, destroyed Iwagakure. Shinoskay's eyes would watch the boy, unimpeded by the coat as it lifted, allowing him to see the other boys reaction. The white mask would look a little awkward on the boys face without the fluffed up coat and with more of Shinoskay's kneck and head exposed one could see a more angular, almost unnaturally angular, build to him.

A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill) Empty Re: A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill)

The crimson-haired Genin would look up as Shinoskay was about to show him something important. In general, Tadashi is a pretty extroverted person and isn’t afraid to talk, a lot actually, but he also knows when to stop talking and asking questions, so he would quietly look up, eyeing Shinoskay intently.  Tadashi would be hooked when Shinoskay showed him the origin of his clan with 3 tomoe, at first, Tadashi thought that Shinoskay was part of the Uchiha Clan because his outfit showed the 3 Tomoe Sharingan, reminiscent of his deceased friend Kaze Uchiha. A pang of guilt ran across his body, faintly showing a troubled look on his face, he would hope that Shinoskay and Feza didn’t notice. His face was instantly replaced with a glint of intrigue when the background was orange instead of blood red. On the bottom left tomoe, it showed the Earth Element, maybe hinting at the fact that Shinoskay or maybe his clan was a group of Earth Users.

But what shocked the crimson-haired Genin to the core was on the bottom right was the symbol of the destroyed Iwagakure. In his mind, a million thoughts raced through his head, because he had never met anyone from Iwagakure. But Shinoskay’s angular build didn’t bother Tadashi that much, probably because his Dad had an angular build like that also, with more wrinkles. The crimson-haired Genin simply masked his shocked with more intrigue as he said, "Hmm, Interesting."

He turned to Feza as he responded to her with a simple face, no added exaggeratedness. “Well Feza, I was strolling through Downtown Konoha like what I do on usual days UNTIL some girls pushed me on the ground since they wanted some dumb clothes. I went to the top of a building since they provide very cool wind, contrary to the ground level. That’s how I met you and Shinoskay.”

A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill) Empty Re: A Day Downtown (Open, No Kill)

It was strange to Suzume seeing Shinoskay in a different light. Compared from what she thought of him before, he was rather... mysterious? She wasn't sure if that would be the word she continue to describe him in her head, but the mannerisms of his movement brought a different perspective of the kid. He almost seemed cool, but still weird because he seemed to have come from nowhere. Peering around too see what he was talking about, she wonder what those symbols could have in connection with each other. Though, it wasn't entirely her business nor was she in the place to get into it so she left it at that, not asking about it.

Suzume gave a shy but genuine grin as Tadashi spoke about the ruckus from the ground. "You mean from that store? Yeah, same here. I was just trying to get some clothes suitable for the heat," she tried to continue the conversation despite what she said being dull as she gestured to the clothing she currently wore - different from her typical tunic. "But the crowd made it so annoying I hopped up here to get out of it as quickly as I could!" she finished, thinking "Why the hell would two guys care about what I'm saying right now? Guess it's better than standing here awkwardly..."

(Didn't mean to take ages to reply...had family member murdered so I'm kinda shook...)
