Research Expitidion (Public, NK) Empty Research Expitidion (Public, NK)

It was good to be back in Hoshigakure. Masashi had not been in the village for quite some time. His parents had insisted that he complete his education on the more mundane aspects of medicine. The education was worth the amount of time spent in the pursuit of knowledge. Upon returning, it had already given him a few ideas. For one, he wanted to build a greenhouse on the property of the home that his parents owned near the water gardens. It would definitely help in terms of being able to grow various plants for making poisons, antidotes, and cures. Perhaps he would even be able to sell what he developed to the shinobi of Hoshigakure. He wasn't sure how much these particular products were in demand at this time, but it was definitely something worth looking into.

The other major task he had in mind was to have a new wing connecting the greenhouse to the rest of the main building in the complex. The new wing would include a library and research laboratory. The library would consist primarily of any research notes that Masashi would jot down over the course of his experimentations, along with any information that he had time to copy from books and scrolls from the main archives building in Hoshigakure. That way he would not necessarily need to travel back and forth all of the time. This would cover any subjects that Masashi held an interest in, not just medical pursuits. The Laboratory would hold multiple operating tables for examining various subjects. He would also have stations for mixing potions, studying smaller objects that are difficult for the eye to see normally. He would also have shelves and cabinets for holding various tools and materials that would be required for the tests he would no doubt be performing eventually.

There were a couple things he would need to do first though. Masashi would need to speak with the current Hogokage about getting permission to run experiments out of this new laboratory. For the good of the village of course. Masashi would have no issue sharing his findings as long as they provide some form of help to the village. He would also need to visit the Kozai Yuki National Archives in order to find what information he could on the subjects that he needed to cover now. Right now, there was more of a focus on learning medical ninjutsu, and any other jutsu that would be able to help him with his current talents. Since the Hogokage was likely to be busy, he would need to deal with that later. That means his first order of business would be to visit the National Archives and hit the books.

The Kozai Yuki National Archives was a massive building on the other side of the village. The last time that Masashi had seen it was before it had been re-dedicated. It was also not as large as it was before. That was a good thing, it meant that there would be more knowledge stored inside. There was a few subjects he would need to go over. Since he was a shinobi, he would need to gain some familiarity with the different branches of jutsu. Not that he wanted to master them all, it would be good to have a working knowledge on how different types of jutsu could affect someone. He would work his way from one side of the library to the other, accumulating a fairly large pile of books and depositing them on one of the tables. It was time to get to work and expand his knowledge. He also brought plenty of writing supplies to collect notes that would be beneficial for his personal library.

As Q sat in his small apartment hating life he started to read the small brochures he had gotten at the small desk near the village gates. There was a very famous ninja named den he seemed like the true god of hoshi, he probably wasn't the god of the religious population but he was the god of shinobi. Q had just gotten to hoshi around 5 hours ago, he hadn't ever gotten around to becoming a hoshi ninja just yet. Q was quite keen but it was just so low on his priority list. He had to explore his new home nut as his father always fold him, do your homework before you get to work.
There were a few things he wanted to today but the most important was to go to the kozi yuki national library. It was a beautiful building with white marble and hundreds of columns that made him pale, the beauty and craftsmanship within the building were supposed to be unmatched, or at least Q had never seen anything that could be that well praised. It supposedly had the wealth of the den mans knowledge in some scrolls, they were acquired rather recently from what Q had heard and he was very excited to see the texts. There was something he wanted to learn called the lost arts of kiri.
Kiri was a village that perished a while back. Den was a kiri ninja that moved on when the village passed. then he came to hoshi. Q had no idea of the transition period but he did know that the man had founded hoshi and Q was so very thankful that he had. Q had a new home full of people, there was violence and there was hate in the town but there was also love and compassion. The girl who had met him at the gate was amazing and kind and had treated Q like a human for the first time in a long time, he had been abandoned there and made the most of his new life.
Q went to his kitchen and rummaged through the cabinets. There was a can of cheap tea, three sugar cubes and a large amount of old rice. Q threw the rice into a pot with some water, he also put some water onto boil. It was cheap tea and rice so the person before Q hadn't enjoyed fine food and drink. As the kettle whistled loudly Q took it off and added the tea leaves. Then he took the rice off the stove and started to let it steam, his father had taught him long away that good things come to those who wait. Then again that was just an excuse to get him to eat his broccoli so he could get ice cream after dinner.
As Q sipped the tea he finally decied that he was ready to go the library, or at least he would be once he got his rice ready. As he finished his tea the rice seemed ready, Q grabbed one of the hceap bowl the person before him had left behind and filled it full of rice. then he poored a tad bit of tea on it for some flavor and walked out the door. Toward the Kozai Yuki National Library eating the tasteless rice it had very few flakes of tea in it as he had poured the remains on it. It had so little flavor he was barely able to choke it down but he didn't care he was going to learn. As Q approached he dumped his garbage in the can and kept walking.

As Q approached the library he saw the wonderful grandeur and the scale at which the building had been built, never before had such at massive building project been undertaken at least not one Q could handle. Q walked up to the library and walked in. There was a nice female receptionist she had a calm demeanor and had a happy exterior. "Excouse me mamn can you please point me in the direction of the Denikeni texts"  Then she would walk the boy towards the scrolls and he would sit down happily ready to finally get to work.

The scrolls were heavy and Q could only carry two at a time. He would set them down on the oak table and start to read. Q was very keen on the lost arts of kiri. According to the texts one could through the hardships faced move nearly silently and all that made noise was jutsu. The ultimate jutsu for a ninja one that makes you truly silent. Then as Q read on it turned out to not be a jutsu but a skill that they had ended up learning to control. They would control their breathing and balance their feet to give no sound.

If anyone came to talk to him Q would stop and say hello but all Q really wanted to do was study. Then again Q had always liked studying with a partner. What should be learn and study next the lost arts of kiri had been a main focal point of his research for the day but that had gone so swimmingly that he only needed a few minutes. Q would stand up making sure to stay as far away from people as possible and start to walk around as quietly as he humanly could. Q felt his body slowly releasing its basic heart rhythm for a much simpler one that was more quiet, he breathing slowed to a microscopic crawl.

Then Q would sigh and realize how dumb he must look prancing around the room breathing strangely and sit back down hating the very fact that he was so stupid. HE didn't really need to do that but it had surely helped him progress as a person. At least he had gotten stronger that was all Q cared about. Q needed to become strong enough to protect his family from the angry world of shinobi.

Then Q would stop and think, he didn’t care about this he wanted to learn something important, Q would look in the scrolls and see the hidden mole jutsu. Hmm cool Q would use the jutsu one flawlessly and th3n walk out with nothing else to do that day, he was just happy to not have to look like an idiot in the library again.

Research Expitidion (Public, NK) Empty Re: Research Expitidion (Public, NK)

It seemed like the library was pretty empty. There was some foot traffic, but nothing that would overly bother the Uzumaki from his work. He had a large wealth of knowledge in terms of medicine and genetics. His knowledge of anything related to jutsu was sub-par at best. Not something that a prospective medical nin would be proud to state aloud. Something that Masashi would need to rectify, and quickly. His primary focus would be medical ninjutsu, simply so he could learn ways to improve himself. He had other plans that would involve other skills. There was one scroll that interested him in particular. There was a scroll for learning Bakuton, creating explosions using chakra. It required a dual chakra nature, earth and fire. Luckily for Masashi, he had an earth nature, and he did have fire chakra in him, it was not something he had worked with much. It would likely be helpful for him to find a teacher to help get a head start on fire-style jutsu. It wouldn't be something he could do much of just yet. He was not a ninjutsu specialist but that was okay; there would be plenty of time to learn more about ninjutsu.

With a basic checklist in mind, Masashi would then refocus the piles of books in front of him. He would need to learn some basic medical ninjutsu since that would be his primary focus. That alone would take up a significant amount of time, simply because not only were there a good deal of jutsu that he could learn in that field, but the amount of theory behind it all that he needed to cover. His first point to look over was simply how to apply medical ninjutsu in order to heal wounds. There was what looked like tiers. The amount of chakra one would focus on a technique would increase the ability of the user to heal wounds. 'Interesting theories.' Masashi thought as he read over the scrolls, soaking up the knowledge contained like a sponge. 'It makes sense to learn this in stages, since there are so many forms of injury or malady that could be accrued. Being a shinobi is a dangerous line of employment.' Masashi chuckled at his own statement. Not that the danger or risk in his career path bothered him. His parents were proud of their only son's accomplishments, and he was proud to be living up to their expectations. The scroll that he was reading didn't seem to cover more than just basic injuries. That in itself was incredible, based on the amount of information listed in the scroll related to what it would cover. "There has to be a stronger medical jutsu..." he muttered to himself as he scanned the other scrolls and books he had collected. He had started to compile a good list of information to put in his own personal research library. It would definitely make his life easier for when he actually starts working in his lab, so that he didn't have to run back and forth to the library here. Since Masashi liked to multitask, he also pulled out a scroll relating to fire jutsu and how it was commonly used. 'Hopefully this is something that will come easily for me like medical ninjutsu is.' He thought to himself. "This would definitely work better with a teacher..." he said to himself.
