darkness was up early that morning. she did her chores before the sisters woke up and left just as dawn was breaking. she was running while eating some toast. As darkness walked to her meeting place that morning she remembered what this mission was about. yesterday she took a mission stating that she must follow a queensmen around town and she whats being a queensmen is about. she thought this would have some information of how her life as a queens guard would be one day. rather exciting for her. she was there early and she started looking around at the stores nearby. she didnt see anything interesting but she did see the queens men a bit earlier then she was meant to meet up with. so she ran over and said "Hi im darkness tengai, im here to shadow you for the day." she bowed with a smile. the queensmen looked at her with a cold stare. "ok tengai you should up early, good, now we are going to do my daily walk around my area and check to see if anything is off, now you may ask questions as we walk but if you get left behide you fail, if you annoy me you fail, am i clear?" he said with a even more cold voice. darkness nodded. "yes sir, i will not get in your way!" she exclaimed. the queensmen nodded and started walking down a road. darkness followed the man. she did not like how this man talked to her but she hopped the man would warm up, might be cold because its still early morning. "so sir your job is to roam the streets making sure nobody does something bad, is that all you do or is there more?" darkness asked truly wondering. "more or less, if i see someone break the law i arrest them and threw im in prison. interested?" he joked. "well i want to be a queens guard one day... so a little bit..." she said shyly. the man looked at her as he walked and nodded his head. "well i hope you do get in then, why do you want to be a queens guard by the way?" the man asked her. "well we need someone to protect the queen and they are elites but i want is to help protect people, even if its just the queen." then man didnt say anything back as he walked. they kept walking and went down an alley. the man stopped darkness and gestured to be quiet. darkness looked past the man seeing two people walk to them. one man was holding a kuni and the other was cracking his knuckles. darkness felt scared. the queens men took out his sword. darkness was panicking. she had little techs she could use and they looked stronger then her. but the queens men did not even looked worried. "so gents why are you two here, i thought i kicked your arse's a long time ago?" the man annoyed the two it looked like. 

"yeah you did queens bitch, but now its payback time." the man with out the kuni said. then as soon after he said that the man with the kuni ran at the queens men and darkness. the queens men went to block the man as darkness used her wind arrow to threw at the man standing still. the kuni man thrusted as he got close to the queens men. the queens men deflected the thrust and smacked the kuni man in the head with his hilt. it made a very loud noise. the kuni guy fell next to a wall near him almost passing out dew to the blow. the knuckles man didnt see darkness or that she threw wind arrows at him and got knocked off his feet. his head hit a trash can and the queens men was standing in front of him, knocking him out quickly. then the queens men looked at darkness after help came and put the two in jail for attacking a queens men. "you did good kid, you helped me out there, i own you one." the queens men smiled at her. darkness blushed a bit and said "your welcome" Darkness and the queens men walked and finished there route. mostly talking about darkness's path too queens guard. she felt happy that she made a new friend and stuck around the queens men for the day. they stopped to get lunch and the queens men said "you know tengai theres something about you that people like, i dont know what it is but i will tell you, you should make a lot of friends." he smiled. darkness smiled. "i hope we meet again sir" the queens men nodded and got up walked away. he mission was over for the day. she reflected on what happened today. she thought that this queens men was very cool and could handle himself. she wanted to be a queens guard even more now. she didnt know there was people like that in the city. it made her a little mad. she didnt hate those people, she understands why people do things they do, but theres always a different way other then hurting or stealing. it always made her sad thinking about that because she might have done that since she was alone and her parents killed by the city she loves, it didnt matter to her she knew why and she understood it. she went home to the church telling the sisters what happened. they asked if she was ok and darkness nodded. she was scared then but it didnt bother her too much after the fact it was over. darkness did her chores before supper and went to get ready for sleep. i really do hope one day i can be a queens guard, then i can start making sure no one is being hurt for no reason. darkness smiled and went to sleep peacefully that night, not knowing what mission or training she would do tomorrow.
