Kanshi "The Parasite" Surēbu
Kanshi is usually seen in a black, striped suit and a grey tie with dark green pants that seem slightly large for him. With his 5 ft 7 stature and his 153 pound body, this ninja seems to be a bit skinny and with a more average height. Sometimes he may be seen with a pair of spectacles, but do not pay too much attention to those as he only wears glasses to make himself look smarter truly.
Kanshi's hair is ebony, long and wispy and perfectly controlled. Every morning it seems he stays sharp by brushing over his black hair to keep it in a perfect state of spiky and straight. Falling to around his shoulders and partly near his eyes, his hair seems to be some kind of hippy skater look in many ways.Personality:
Kanshi isn't even close to being a happy camper. He usually feels very out of place with the rest of the world. Childish and immature to his core, he is left to try to cover it up the best he can through whatever possibly can to look more like a ninja. Carrying a strong sense of justice with him, he deems the evil to be all those who aren't under the Hokage. He isn't the type to want to kill, but he is very much so ready to kill anyone who defects from the village or any missing ninja who walks into the village. In his world, everyone who has committed a crime against the leaf needs to die as if it were a crime against humanity. Bursting with a sense of compassion towards the idea of the leaf, he is sometimes very welcoming to others in the village. Seeing others harass and kill, is something he sadly can't stand for. If the option was presented, he would, most likely, accept a fatal wound to the chest rather than it be a person he deems innocent or worthy of life. While keeping introverted for his appearance, he usually spends his free time trying to become stronger for those who make fun of him. For Kanshi, appearance is sadly everything. Sadly more issues pop up in Kanshi's face as well for those who know he can serve under someone. It seems people will try to trick him to becoming their slave and he has gained some higher standers over the years while not binding to a single person.
If someone where to bind to Kanshi or gain his trust, he would gain a dire sense of loyalty to that person. The idea of serving under some kind of king, god, or organization is something he obsesses over often. Showing a much less reserved side upon getting to nobody is definitely a trait noticeably with him. When he feels comfortable, he turns into an immature trouble maker with little to no care for others. On a second glance, you may see that he is just letting others before him and is really not too attached to living.History:
~Life Before Death~
"When one leaf falls, another comes to take its place." This quote was what Sakura was born with as she lived her early childhood in the leaf. She was human then, not a single thing was wrong as she grew up in that small section of town close to the ramen shop. While she lived here, she remembered her name being Sakura. Life was perfect to the last drop there, whether it be Viper Uchiha as her role model to the little things like ramen every Wednesday. Viper Uchiha was inspirational to her in his sometimes considered harsh viewpoints of the world. His strong sense that the leaf village will rule them all was the fire in her heart to want to become someone great. With a strong sense of loyalty and what she believed to be justice, it was all she could talk about and read about at the time. It was some kind of hero to her.
Sadly, good things don't last often for people. Her Mom and Dad both were experimenting with forbidden medical ninjutsu they got in a scroll from the black market and caused themselves to gain a sort of incurable disease that slowly converted the body to ash. Her parents were trying to become stronger in order to defeat the list of missing ninja, but sadly went to go obtain their powers the wrong way. While nursing her parents, Sakura began to feel a sense of doubt that was never present before. She had great ideas that the word was her oyster, but seeing her parents die slowly and brutally was a lot for the five year old girl to take in. Taking her parents into the hospital, sadly didn't help much either as nobody knew what to do for the bizarre decomposition. Sakura watched day by day as her parents died off painfully and slowly. Hope was lost as she tried to convince herself that maybe they would get replaced by new great ninja someday. Watching the rotting of her once jovial parents caused a sickening case of depression for Sakura. In one day her life became empty, a single second changed her life and it happened once more.
Sakura awoke one day to find herself coughing up ash and her skin with a black patch. Hardly able to believe it, she frantically tried to scratch it off and cough it out but to no accomplishment. The disease was then considered to be contagious so the family of three died in quarantine to save the rest of the village from harm. Day by day, she prayed for a heart attack and sometimes could hear the people outside talking about how ugly she looked. The cruel jokes and the depression hardened into desperation. She tried to escape, but couldn't. As an act of help, she went up to her Mom and Dad and strangled them both to save them from a painful hell. After all, the disease took what the doctors expected two months to take someones life. Sakura was abandoned by the others in their quarantine and with the euthanasia of her parents, and couldn't take living in the fully body pain anymore. She ate the ash off her parent's corpses in order to speed up the spread of the disease and died from choking on her parent's ashes by accident. The ash had clogged her lungs and caused to her suffocate alone. When the medical ninja found a cure, it was too late for the once lively family.
With the creation of Sanctuary and other dimensions, holes were made in the border between the spirit world and the human world. As these tears were opened for the accidents between dimensional travel and the creation of life from some advanced medical ninjutsu, punishment was given to for those who played god at the expense of the poor half souls of the Surēbu Clan. Being "lucky" enough to get the second chance of life after living a short and painful one, Sakura's soul traveled out of the spirit realm through a tear in the border between the spirit world and the human world. Sadly, the tear that took her into the human world was repaired as she left and bit half of her soul off without her even recognizing it in the odd form. In the human world, she could have died for good if she hadn't been able to take control over her soul's movements. Feeling an immense and deep strain, Sakura moved her soul into the Konoha hospital and went right through a wall while feeling strongly drawn to that exact spot. Here a young boy at the age of 4 was seconds away from death after suffering immense trauma from falling down a flight of stairs. With parents around the hospital bed, Sakura watched as the kid's soul was pushing to escape the body it was attached to. Panicking and feeling drawn to it, she swam into his body and replaced the soul as it left. Sakura's soul may have been strained but it was health and lively unlike the damaged soul that left. Suddenly, the kid healed up very quickly and Sakura began to regain her consciousness. In the boys body, she laid on the hospital bed without a single memory of what happened before that exact moment. When she traced back her memories, all she could get was the boy's memories and a small handful of visions of the spirit world. Within her mind was now mental blocks against everything before hand to prevent a sort of sensory overload as she got used to this body. Now her personality changed almost instantly with the brain structure of the boy and now remembered herself as Kanshi. To his advantage, the parents thought the head trauma from falling down the stairs was all that happened to suddenly induce a slight personality change. Now the four year old lived in a family and dropped his last name. Kanshi was just Kanshi, both legally and mentally. While some could argue his last name is Surēbu as his clan name is, he argues back to say that he is satisfied with a simple name like Kanshi. No middle name and no last name here.
Kanshi struggled immensely as he began to try to become a ninja. With his parents now fully accepting his ghostly form, he could now at least breathe a little. The main issue Kanshi struggled with was the others telling him constantly that he could never amount to something in the world and that he was some sort of demon. Carrying this burden of racism with him, he walked forward with his aggression in bottles. It all reminded him of when his parents thought of him as some kind of half dead, half alive ghost and even tried to get a doctor to help. Anytime Kanshi trained or studied, he would release his aggression towards getting better. Anytime someone did one push up, he did two and kept himself in very good shape. Testing his body to the limits and spending every second of his time focusing on what was next for him, the now sixteen year old was at the top of his class. It was around here were he began to bitter towards the end of his life as an academy student. Seeing the cruelties of people he just had to put up with and seeing a new Hokage seeming to die or resign every second, it just rotted his core. He found his life's purpose and meaning here. Instead of beating himself over his solitude, he was going to beat up those who deserve it. Quickly he began to study what makes a person, in his eyes, worthy and what makes a person non-worthy. Kanshi may not have killed those who needed his justice, but he was known for hunting them down and giving some sense of karma to their lives. He was mad, completely crazy to the core. Showing a kind face to everyone then drop kicking a petty thief, he acted as a vigilante in Konoha. As he grew a name so did he grew a couple of friends and a purpose to fight. Training hard and practicing everyday, he eventually gained the most important thing in his life, his headband. Wearing his headband proudly, he felt part of something powerful in him with a better sense of what to do next.
Upon reaching Genin, he obsessively wore his headband and grew out his ebony hair. He was 18 and was some kind of rising star and kind savior. While others grew out to other specialties and elements, Kanshi began to realize that he was unable to make the connection to any other elements or specialties. With this frustration, he trained harder and harder than before and began to remember distant thoughts from his past about Viper Uchiha being someone notable. While seeing the other Hokage fall, he deemed them as weak and people who should be exiled from the village for their failures. Kanshi understood the importance of a face of the Hokage. Hokage had to represent and lead the village, but none were seeming to be worthy of such. The fire nation was the future of the shinobi world as his idol said, Kanshi hated to see such unworthy trash stepping into office. Continuing to follow the words of Viper Uchia and even crossing over to some of Navi's ideas, Kanshi continued his work as a vigilante and dreamed about hunting and kill the filthy missing ninja.
~Chuunin and Beyond~
At the start of Chuunin, he became the 19 year old Kanshi not many know and some love. During this time he witness something that sparked him to want to give up on being a ninja entirely, the death of Jason Senju. It was an outrage to him, a menace to sore eyes. A disease took the Hokage and even after the village was filled to the brim with medical ninja too! He was outraged to see his village so easily destroyed by a simple disease the medical ninja couldn't solve. Every bone in his body wanted to blame the rest of the world as he sorted himself out. Before long, he finished up his long list of missions he had been working on to become a Chuunin. With this, he thought about just becoming Hokage himself and saving the village once and for all. Completing his final mission and obtaining the honor of Chuunin, Kanshi looked up to the newest Hokage happily. Kurisu to him was some kind of god for taking the villages from its ashes. Working under someone great like this, he knew that no more failures were going to step in to lengthen the list of failure Hokages. A strong since of pride overcame Kanshi as he seeked to spread himself out and begin to test the true limits of his potential.Likes:
