Search and Rescue (p/nk/Jace)

Queen had pierced her blade into the man’s groin. A screech of pain filled the room and could surely even be heard over a two block radius. The sight of death was drawn within the girl’s face as her lilac eye’s pierced into the man’s. Her brow was furrowed in anger, an evil spirit seeming as if it had posses the girl into torturing the man. “Is this what you wanted?” She asked with venom in her voice. Queen slowly inched the blade up his body as it was now passing his hip. His screams continued to echo over the gargling sound of blood that filled his throat. Tears began to stream down his eyes as he tried to control the pain he was feeling. Though, no amount of pain that he felt would ever come close to what he tried to do to Queen. He would suffer. Queen would make his las minute of his life feel like an eternity.

The girl had brough the sword up all the way up to his belly button, his intestines starting to fall out. Hid blood continued to poor into a thick pool surrounding the man, Queen’s boots now drenched in it as well. If one was mistaken, they could even see her eyes turning from their usual purple shade to one of hell’s red. Just as Queen was about to end the man’s pitiful life, a chain suddenly wrapped around her arms. The action caused the girl to snap out of her trance. Not knowing t was Jace, the girl shot a hellish glare towards the source. Only when she realized that it was Jace was when her face relaxed. His word synching in as she realized what it was that she was doing. She didn’t regret it, not one bit. She couldn’t afford to be weak, couldn’t afford to not protect herself.

Still, the girl found herself frozen in place. Jace had leaped down from the roof and unwrapped the chain from her arms. Slowly, he removed her hand from the blade’s hilt, grasping it for himself. Unaware of her actions, the girl backed up, swapping her gaze from Jace’s back towards the piece of scum. Somehow, he found the will to thank Jace for saving his life, showing just how pitiful he was. Queen didn’t even flinch a muscle as he boy had suddenly put the man out of his misery, splitting his body in two and splashing the nearby wall with the man’s blood. Deep down, she was upset that Jace had stolen her revenge, but at the same time, she felt a sense of happiness that outweighed the anger. Rei had no problem handling the burden herself, but it was the fact that Jace now shared that burden that made her feel a sense of safety. Something that no one has ever been able to do.

The girl didn’t move a muscle as Jace untied Moonyoung from her constraints. Once she was freed, the red haired girl ran over to Queen and threw her arms around her, The blonde’s body practically soaked in blood. Rei found herself unable to return the hug, still stricken by the events that took place. It wasn’t until Jace had grabbed her hand that she snapped back into reality. “We should go.” The words took am moment to sink in before Queen nodded in agreement and followed him outside the building.

Once outside, Queen would get her blade back from the boy and put it back on it’s sheath. “Thank you for helping me Jace. I… I don’t know what I would have done without you.” Words of sincerity left Queen’s lips as she was unable to meet the boy’s gaze. “I’m going to head home now with Moonyoung, but you are welcome to stop by later for dinner.” With those finals words, she was able to muster all her current willpower to give the boy a warm smile before heading off with Moonyoung.

Upon arriving to her home, Moonyoung would rest in Queen’s room while she showered. The girl stood naked in the pearly white shower as the blood rinsed off her body. Rei stood there, feeling the most vulnerable that she ever felt with her army gently crossed over her chest. Unaware, tears began to drip from her eyes and before she knew it, she was unable to stop the flood of tears as she collapsed onto the tub floor. She would eventually be able to live with the events that happened today, but for today, she was broken, and nothing could fix that.

It wasnt long before the trio were outside of the building. To Jace's surprise, the blonde gave him a sincere thanks before telling him she was going to head home with booger girl. Even more surprising to the boy was when she had invited him over for dinner later that day. This entire situation had been full of emotions from beginning to end. When Jace had woken up this morning he certainly hadn't expected anything remotely close to what they ended up going through. He just gave the girl a sincere smile and told her that he might not be able to make it tonight but he would try. After the girls had left, Jace went back the way they had come to return to the book store that was his usual haunt.
