Walls of Trees (Kira, IO, Priv)

Kirus eye burned like a miniture sun had been shoved into his head, blood running dowm his face as it reacted from the energy from the Omega. Kiru had no idea of this though, and only knew that whatevee was affecting Kira had enough power to reach out to his own darkness. He felt pain like lightning bolts through his head and gritted his teeth. Slowly, ever so slowly the pain lessened. Trying to wipe the blood from his face he kept his right eye shut and looked at Kira. Whatever had been happening to her was stabilized now. Long black tails seemed to be coming off her body, like her flames from earlier but instead these were opaque and not on fire. She called out to him and he pulled himself off the tree he had been leaning against. "Present Kira."

"W.... What happened." She was disoriented from the endeavor, her eyes shifting left and right, vision unfocused. There were three copies of the boy she'd trained..... How long had they been together? Her thoughts sifted through muddled memories, half lost through mental manipulation and the other vague from time and the effects of hard training and concentration on anything but the past. She could see Yuki, bright and vibrant as a young boy approached her. He was bright eyes with intrigue and resolve seeming to flow through his very being. The vision shifted quickly, the boy she recognized as her student standing before the burning remnants of the village hidden in the snow holding a great black ball. With a sinister glare he released it towards her, three shadows hidden behind him, one with the slight glimmer of red eyes.

As the ball came in contact with her skin her vision blacked once more, shifting to her standing over the half dead bodies of three konoha shinobi. "N...No. Ki....say..." She couldn't find words as the dark energy seemed to burst through her aura once more. It seemed as if the fight wasn't quite over yet, and this time she didn't have the strength to continue.

A single word slipped into Kiru's mind through the choker, calm and simple, though the language wasn't clear. ~Varris'Kel~

Kiru would have liked to know what had happened himself. He found himself temporarily blind in his right eye, and Kira looked like she had some kind of super seizure of darkness, which probably wasn't normal. "Not sure what happend. Lost of dark energy started bursting out of you or something..."

It was about that time Kiru heard a voice in his head, speaking a word in a language he didnt know. If he was going to have voices, it would at least be nice if they spoke the same language he did, but he guessed you just couldnt have everything. He glanced back at Kira to see if she heard it to, while at the same time drawing nearer to the girl to check on her health.

As he moved to check on her three great tendrils of terrifying shadow shot out, aimed to cut deeply into his arms. Her eyes shifted from red to black, her pupils rolling too far back into her head as she lost control. her body went limp as the shadows struck at him, the omega taking control of her form more quickly. There was only one hope.

~Kiru. you must shatter its control~

Kiru jumped back a ways, dodging the attack. A familiar voice yelled in his mind but wasnt very specific on how to break "its" control. For the sages sake, Kiru didnt even know what It was. The boy grit his teeth as he mulled his options. What about that word? Clearly it wouldnt have been thrown in his head for no reason. It also wasnt the worst possible option. If saying the secret command phrase didnt work then other, more combative responses would be neccesary of course, but for now, he was going to say that word. 
"Varris'kel!"
He didnt yell it but he said it loud enough for Kira to hear. Hopefully this was the purpose of learning that weird word, because if not, then this day got a lot more difficult.

A wicked grin flowed across her face as the shadow tendrils moved faster, the cursed seal given to her granting them terrifying effect. Just as they would have reached the boy's new position, inches from making another deadly strike the girl's body went limp, falling foward to the ground. Beside her in a puff of smoke Selene appeared swirling around the body of the demon of chance as she reentered the world.

"Good job." Her compliment was calm but short as she lifted the Hell's angel up, and as quickly as she'd appeared she was gone again, summoned to the fae to tend to the passed out konoichi.

"it has began. Amber spoke to the spirit of her scythe. With the coruption of the Omega lashing out at their allies something neeed to be done, ,though how to actuallly handle this threat was beyond her. She laid the girl gently on a bed in the large master suite of the castle, pulling the comforter over her head. "I fear..... In shattering her to fix the issues caused by youka I've awakened a much more dangerous power. Damn these seals. " She drew the dagger of disdain across her skin, right up to where it met the first seal on her left arm but stopped.

Kiru was...confused as he stood against the burnt husk of a tree. He now stood in a veritable wasteland of doom and wondered where Kira had just gone. Something was clearly wrong, something with both of them. He had to do something to help contain these problems, and he was beginning to wonder if their issues were truly seperate cases. Had whatever lied dormant within Kira been part of what affected Kiru? He didn't have a lot of proof other then their mutual pain when it activated. He brushed off his coat and sighed. He really needed some new armor, that was a task he could probably focus on and actually achieve. Gathering himself, he left the wasteland and headed back to town. It was going to be a long walk, but it'd give him time to think about some things for himself. Sighing as he walked through the burned wasteland, he activated Rain Tiger at Will to allow the forest to suck up some moisture so maybe it could find some way to repair itself. He just needed to focus on a simple task for a bit while Kira cleared up..whatever was the matter with her and that freakout.
