Hey guys, I think I messed up the approval. It was recently brought to my attention that the folks doing the transplant do not have a med spec. If this is true, then transplants can't be done. If not, please link me to the stat page of the person with med spec performing the transplat. Sorry about the incovenience everyone. <3

An eye for an Eye (Yen/Team Fuku/P/NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: An eye for an Eye (Yen/Team Fuku/P/NK)

Odd. Well fuel for thought in a open debate on the issue at hand.

I thought hospitals if they could sew back on arms and such eyes be an inclusion as small surgery? Due to nerve and repair and such. That's a bit unusual if that's the case because delimbing wouldn't be able to be fixed if so because attaching a limb would require a medical specialists as well due to the complexity of the issue of reattatching and further assuring limb function is well. Under that case a hospital would only be useful for  healing gashes and such  without occurring a penalty to a person. And not large life saving surgeries. Also if the part is untrue it would mean one of several things

1. Npc medical ninjas would not be on the case and point be at hand  since its not really modern day. If not then there would be a semi realistic approach to healing and further recovery. That said.

2. Damage could not be healed properly in a hospital setting. Meaning that because of the complexity of certain injuries such as a loss of eye or limb and nerves affected and further removal there would be a realistic approach to the affected matter. Being that due to medical staff not having medical ninjas that could assist with such as limb recreation, limb attachment, and I further limb preparing via chakra. Then recovery would span for topics on end with simple wounds, and a the one true role of a hospital is to stablize at the most critical wounds. Unless I'm wrong of course.

3. Medical is a required specialty for transplants. As it states it allows one to do transplants but if a hospital is unable to provide medical ninjas Nov that is that sort of changes a lot of things requiring not only a medical ninja to not only be present at hand but also sort of reduces a hospitals uses even further.

As a suggestion on hand if the above is noted and further confirmed as it stands I suggest that the above gets tossed into npc/ hospital rules to make the hospitals rules more accredited for. And add the draw back since npc medical ninjas are not in the making nor really exist that limb attachment does not enable one to actively use the limb.

That way IC should damage be done it's actual damage and a hospital is placed as an optional choice with a equal consequence compared to the free power of medical specialists at hand. This does two things

1. Does not make a hospital a staple aka stitch and run off. But an actual recovery time for wounds and damage lasting effects, dependency, (ect)

2. enabling medical as not a staple but a further an requirement that is stated to allow transplants of any kind for people and obviously self. And further allow it as a pc to enable hospital use for transplants and such rule be stated that ic the medical ninja must do the operation.

If not then with the above being stated we can point out the reasoning at hand that eye transferring is close enough to an small surgery. This seems like a simple two way deal that can work out well for everyone. And opinions are free to object at the idea to clearify these grey areas.

While I do agree with your suggestions for realistic portrayals of hospitals, surgeries etc, the issue here is of game mechanics and not profficiency of surgeons etc. Just as you can't get an MS from an NPC you can't get a transplant from one either. The medical spec requirement stated in transplant rules is not up for debate to my knowledge though we certainly can stand to clarify general village hospital rules and encourage players to rp out the healing process more realistically. <3

An eye for an Eye (Yen/Team Fuku/P/NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: An eye for an Eye (Yen/Team Fuku/P/NK)

Ok  got it . And  in that case it's fine.

However as a suggestion well more. So request the rules should be more to that point after as not a staple but with fixing of limbs And such make it equivalent to the standards of transplants. As hospitals in the eye of game mechanics since they can't do a transplant it's only giving half power to something that It doesn't truely carry.

For the fact in being that my suggestions seem pretty game defining tbh. as this clearity further should in its revealing change the rule actively. As grey areas like this would be more defined. because in my opinion if an eye transfer can't be done then how does a hospital allow a full arm and leg to work perfectly without side effect and further block out one possibility completely? at least knowledge on nuerlogy and further nerve repair and creation . As well as DNA matching and such.

That much is advanced, and hence should be placed under medical specialty. Thus making a hospital obsolete IC due to the fact it doesn't truely have stated ability. It takes far more power to create then adjust to a new thing. And with that said limb sewing should not be a possibility in a hospital setting in that case  it should be restricted to purely medical specialists on the matter on hand vs a hospital because you can't really give such a thing power as that without offering full benifit to it. As medical stuff is precision unmatched so I would say it's better to remove such a thing before an issue like this occurs.

It's better making the pure diffrence between the two as one enabling as much more broad access to the whole picture  while a hospital is based as basic treatment and further stability of a pacient in critical condition. And hospitals not being able to plop back on a limb and somehow in some way making it work without nerves being regrown and such. That way a hospital is meant for simple to advance wound care. At the most and not full scale healing  But drawbacks equal to the damage done. Loss arm well one armed, loss of leg is one legged, eye means you can only see with an eye hence initial ry reduced by -30 and blind in a eye. Unless of course experienced fighter is built up lol. This may seem like much but it's a nessecity in the making. On added though should be a failure for treatment and life saving. Can't save everyone so if wounded badly for hospital there is a chance for failure. This makes a bit more sense Being that a hospital Is indeed a go to to fix thing but no bullet proof for handling every thing under the Sun. So a mechanic that can be discussed in further detail later ofc

But will edit claim and such accordingly. Ok aki? Give me the word for the apparent approval for edits.
