Lightning, boy.
Kozan woke up with a start, the alluring voice of Aunt Misaki ringing in his ears. He shook his head to clear his drowsiness, and tried to forget about the nightmare he had just had. Rubbing his eyes vigorously, he got up from his rather comfortable bed and looked at the time. Early morning... so early that the sun had not yet risen. Well, he felt rested enough. Time to get training, but on what? He felt that he had achieved a good level of sword proficiency, and had finally figured out how to silence Nightblood... just infuse chakra into it. Somehow, that kept the blade relatively quiet. As grateful as he was for such a development, this left him bereft of a more short term goal. As such, he decided at random to use his dream as a sort of guideline. Lightning, huh? Well, he knew what this meant. It was time for a trip to the library. Getting dressed, he realized that his mother would most likely not be up yet, and reveled in the thought that he wouldn't have to deal with her before leaving for the day. He'd have to keep this in mind. Note to self: wake up eariler to avoid ornery bitch.
At any rate, Kozan walked down the stairs and into the very early morning air. The village still being dark, he had to blink a few times, his eyes adjusting to the dim light of the area. Now... the library was open all the time, so he should be fine. Sighing slightly, he began to walk away from his house and toward said library, keeping his guard up as he went. Even though the sun would rise in a couple of hours, there were still always shady characters lurking around at this time of the day. How disgusting.
Eventually, Kozan came within sight of the library, and allowed himself to relax just a small fraction. What a great building. It was his singular source of advanced knowledge in the village, and he would certainly not progress as quickly without it. At any rate, there he was. The two great lions in front of the village were visible, but the details of the lovingly carved edifice were lost to Kozan's eyes in the darkness. Well, not like he cared. The aesthetics of architecture were lost on Kozan, as he simply didn't give a shit about things like that.
