Kuro watched the section of rock hurtle towards him and didn't move as it passed through his liquid body, immediately reforming after the rock passed safely through him. "Well, If you pick out a jutsu you want to learn, you can practice it on me instead of the air. As long as it's not an electric attack. For the love of god no lightning attack or i will summon my adorable deadly monster Terroth and he will eat you." Kuro shuddered at the thought of electricity then smiled. "But you said you use Earth and explosions or whatever, so practice away."

James smiles and says, "This shall be fun, Kuro. Shi, relax, there isn't anything you can do to Kuro, he's stronger than both of us. I fought him once before, it's gonna be hard to dent him." 
He runs at Kuro, then sending chara into the ground, he tries to turn it into a fine sand so he can slip into it. It doesn't change, so he stops two meters away from Kuro. He starts to stomp the ground a few times, trying to slam his chakra into the ground to  change it into sand. After a few tries it changes. He starts to slip in the ground and pretends to struggle.
"Help me, help me. I'm sinking in. It's got to be a sinkhole. Please, Shi, I don't wanna die. Nooooo," James would say, struggling around, sinking into the ground, with the last part being said as his head goes under the ground.
He pauses a second under ground, sensing everything around him. He inches himself towards where he senses Kuro. He gets behind where he senses Kuro to be at, then suddenly launches himself out. He gets stuck halfway going out to attack Kuro and sigh. He wiggles himself out, trying to get unstuck, and he sends chakra out to change the earth into sand again. It takes him a few attempts before it finallys works and he sighs as he scampers out of the earth.
"Forget that, that jutsu is just annoying. I really wish that justu was easier, trying to hide like a mole, i don't understand how moles do it. Getting stuck like that coming out is really hard." James says to no one in particular. He walks back around Kuro, distancing himself five meters away once again. "I'm gonna try a different jutsu than that Kuro, so get ready."

He then weaves multiple hand signs and slams his hands into the ground. Little pebbles fly towards Kuro, barely an inch thick, almost not even reaching Kuro five meters away.. He sighs and laughs, "Welp, at least something happened from that. Let's try this again."
Weaving the same hand signs again, he slams his hands into the ground. This time larger pebbles appear, about five inches thick rain towards both Kuro and Shi. He shakes his head and says, "I know I can do this, maybe if I just put more chakra into the move I can make it stronger."
He does the hand signs once more, weaving fast, then slamming his hands into the ground. Five projectiles appear, two feet in diameter appear. He sends one towards Kuro, watching it move through the air, he then sends another one out, this one moving faster than the previous. 
"Come on, I can do better than this," James thinks to himself as she sends the remaining three at Kuro, flying fast, but not as fast as they could go."
He weaves his hand signs, focusing his chakra into his hands, and once more, he forcefully slams his hands into the ground. He winces a little at hitting the earth a little too hard, but ten projectiles appear, and he sends all ten projectiles at both Kuro and Shi.
"Take this and this, and that, and maybe that, and a little of this."
He starts laughing thinking the jutsu was a little fun, but wasn't nearly as strong or as powerful as it could be. He weaves the hand signs again, that of dog then tiger then snake then dog again, then rat, and lastly doing another snake before slamming his hands into the ground.
"I got the power," James said as he sends out another ten projectiles at Kuro and Shi once again.

"Okay, now to take a break from that jutsu. Kuro, hold still I want to try this move out." James then does the hand sign bird, then touches the ground, making spears to come out of the ground right underneath Kuro.
"Think fast Kuro," James said, as he starts to create spears from out of the ground. Instead of making spears from the ground, he makes three earth like poles, only one three inches out of the ground around Kuro. He sighs, saying, "I'm very exhausted from trying those other jutsus so I guess I should take a break from working some of those jutsus. Well, Shi, your turn to send stuff at Kuro, maybe work on your clan element. This is the perfect time to practice on a willing subject. I'll be over next to that tree," James says, pointing his thumb at a tree five meters behind him, "And I'll probably just watch you guys for a bit, maybe less. I think I need to recover some of my energy before trying again."
He then proceeds over to the tree, and near exhaustion, sits with his back against the tree. He yawns a bit, and then smiles, "Thanks, Kuro for your cooperation, that was very good practice right now. I'll be back on my feet soon."

Shi Ken then spoke up saying "i don;t think we should be using earth style against him at all seeing as my dad told me that earth style counters water style, there for we could really hurt him. but i;ll try to use a jutsu too just not at him." he then tried to focus his chakra in to his arms starting him his fingers and creeping him his arms they slowly turn a darker side of brown, It was hard for him to get even his arms covered at this point but he pushed himself a bit farther, it was clear he was consenting on getting his chest and head cover too the problem he had right now is as he spread it more it still build up more on some parts then other. So his Fist and arms were a bit thicker coated then his chest. he stopped at his point bc he new he couldn't get his legs but for him it was a good start. "this is as far as i get for earth spear, so far" he then trys to level out his fist so the thickness of his earth around him is even. it took abit but the exter crumbled off.


(Earth Release: Earth Spear 200/3000 and +1 the chakra for 200 words of trainning)

Kuro waits and watches the stones rise up. He smirks slightly and catches the first few five inch stones and tossed them at others coming at him to knock them away, then catching and avoiding the rest of the wave and repeating the process until James calmed down. Kuro watched the rods of earth rise up and chuckled as he stepped around them. "Don't worry friend, I can handle whatever you throw at me. My real true enemy is electricity, I absolutely hate it. I can handle anything else." Kuro smiled and nodded at Shi's Earth Spear technique. "Looks pretty cool. Use me as a target as much as you need."

James, lazily, looked at the two shinobi. He waves his hands and says, "I'm too tired to even think. Shi, throw something as Kuro, he has this strange obsession with being hit by earth. Don't worry about hurting him, because he said that only lightning would hurt him."
He stands up stretches and says, "Welp, I'll be taking a dirt nap if you guys need me."
He laughs at his own joke as he sends chakra into the earth, changing it into a fine sand. He drops quickly, only getting stuck once, with only his head above ground. "Looks like I'm really neck deep in trouble."
He laughs once again as he finishes sinking into the ground. 
He digs his way to be directly under Kuro, and he chuckles to himself. He then sits comfortably, directly under Kuro, and dozees off a little. Well, not really doze off, more of sit in the dark, with his eyes close, enjoying how close he was, and how he could jump out of the ground at any time to attack them.

Shi Ken then said "fine, i don't really have any ranged attacks tho" So he picked up a stone and just whipped it at Kuro, he heard of one style he wanted to learn but he;s far from it but still giving it a shot, he tried to imbue more charka in his arms but all it did was make his arms earth a bit thicker again, So after throwing ti he had to skim down the earth spear again. He then tried a idea by putting charka on his hands he could make Rocks sticks to it, there for he could punch Rocks at Kuro at a faster more rapid pace. He did his normal 1-2 and a heavy right by sending 2 quick smaller rocks to make there defense near there face before a larger rock near the open gut. All he had to do was reform the earth on his hands again for the Earth spear with to him was just more practice he direly needed to even come close to these two. he then asked "if his attacks were any good?" He assumed they were shit as always but you never know they might have tips on how to improve.

Kuro managed to catch the two smaller rocks but didn't quite have the speed to catch the larger rock, so instead he let himself partially liquefy so the rock blew a hole in his gut, water splattering everywhere. "Aaaaaah, my bellyyyyyy!" Kuro fell to his back and reformed, flipping backwards onto his feet again. "Pretty cool! I didn't know punching rocks could be so efficient."
