Training and Angry Empty Training and Angry

Mon Apr 14, 2014 3:10 am
Kiru cried out in a rage, his blade seemed to shine in the moonlight, casting a reflection of said moon, before swiping into the target it was aimed for. The young genin angrily hit the target again and again with his blade. He was angry and feeling alone. He had been the only one to outright fail the psyche evaluation, and it was all his fault. If he had been a little smarter, pushed a little harder. His sword made another gash through the target, wood chips flying through the air from the cut. He wouldn't stand for this. He would get stronger. Nothing was going to stop that. Not Maku, Not Ice, Not Daiyuki. It didn't matter to him if he won the tournament. He simply needed to fight till it was impossible for him to continue. To push further and further past his limits. He would fight, and slash, and destroy his way to the top. Winning or losing was inconsequential, as long as he fought his hardest and gained some sort of strength. Flipping backwards, he formed a spiraling wind ball in his hand, and blasted it into the target. The surface was beyond finished, and he probably wouldn't get much use out of it anymore. Deciding his training here was done, he went for a run to gain some leg strength.

He passed ramen shops, weapon shops, and even houses. Their lights glowing dimly in the cool night air. He wasn't nearly pushing his top speed, mainly because he didn't want to get tired too quickly. He just wanted to keep running. At the sight of the headband wrapped around his arm, several people waved, noticing he was a ninja of Yuki. But that is all they acknowledged him for. Not because he was strong, or brave, or memorable, but because he was one of the crowd. Simply one of the many ninja who protected this village. He wasn't anything special in their eyes. He was just a weakling. He had begun running up a vertical surface, likely one of the village walls, but he didn't notice or care. He was too busy fuming at himself for being without strength. He begun heading down the wall, not caring the direction, he simply wanted to be away from the lights of town, the laughter of people, and the general happiness of others. He simply wanted to be content with his own sorrows, and not worry about the needs of others. And above all that, he needed someone to beat up. His usual classmates would all be asleep by now, and Maku wasn't a person he wanted to see, so he simply wandered to the so-called wrong side of town, and waited for something to happen.

It wasn't long before he was surrounded by a group of around ten thugs. None of them were a match for Kiru, and were simply bullies, who lived in this part of town to attempt to get away with their illicit activities. They hadn't targeted him because he was a ninja, but simply because he was known as the local outsider. The one who had moved from far away to violate their cold and miserable hellhole. This apparently warranted Kiru getting a beating, though they didn't quite see who they were messing with. It would be easy to run away, but that would be quitting again wouldn't it? No, he wouldn't run away. He would stand and fight. The first of the thugs attempted to club the snow nin in the back of the head, and was met with a sweeping kick, then a low blow to the throat, he would be out for the moment. Two of the others tried to make use of the distraction, and charged the boy, but were met with slashes across the chest from his sword. Reversing the blade he gave a sharp blow to one of them,, knocking them out, the second one he kicked into several boxes, putting him out of the fight as well. Not giving the others a chance to strike he smashed one in the temple with the back of his fist, putting him out instantly. He then threw his sword, it going through a thugs arm, pinning him to the wall. Kiru rolled, and uppercutted the sixth thug, cracking his jaw, and likely putting him out of the fight. The seventh attempted to kick Kiru in the head as he recovered from the uppercut, but was grabbed by his leg and slammed into a wall. The eighth sent an assault of punches, but they were all easily seen through. The ones Kiru didn't block, only needed slight movement to escape from. Kiru formed two wind arrows, and jammed them through the mans knees, putting him out of the count. The ninth and tenth both had actual swords, and were slightly deadlier opponents. Kiru unsealed two chains, and rushed at them, as they rushed at him. His first chain wrapped around the ninth mans arm, and Kiru wrenched on the chain, flipping the man over. The snow nin then targeted the tenth man, and threw both the chains around his legs. Kiru then spun in a circle, spinning the man screaming through the air. Unsealing the chains, the thug went flying into a wall, probably taking severe damage. The ninth man was slowly getting back up, so Kiru simply walked over to him, and kicked him in the temple. All the thugs appeared to be more or less defeated, so Kiru could move on his merry way.

Kiru's running finally finished at the place he started. It had taken several hours to run through the whole town, and morning was just starting to break apart the starry sky. He unsheathed his sword, Which he had in fact recovered from the thug he had left it in, and decided to give the broken target one last hurrah. He charged it, and sliced vertically, horizontally, then diagonally, all in quick succession. The target literally fell to pieces, unable to take any more strain. Kiru sheathed his weapon, and prepared to begin his day. He still had training to do.
