Skills
Skills are unique traits shinobi learn through experience, and training, the most common being advanced senses, or a greater proficiency in a field of jutsu.  Shinobi are allowed to have at maximum, five skills.  To train a skill, one must do at minimum 2,000 words of training to use it, number may increase depending on the skill potency.  All skills must be kept basic, we will not allow you to register a skill that boosts all jutsu power by hundreds of points, regardless of a large wordcount used to awaken the skill.  Skills do not have a rank, but should be made with common sense for potency. After the five skills you can replace ones you have learned due to them only being trained arts, but for every skill you replace there will be an additional 1,000 words required for training of the skill.

-Know the difference between skills, and jutsu, if you have to do hand signs, and it does its own effect, then it's a jutsu.

-Passive Skills cannot buff someones main stats.

-Active skills that have a trigger, such as when you take so much damage blank happens, can boost ones stats or substats, but no more than by 20 total of all the boosts.

-You can have multiple skills in effect at a time, but only one active and one passive skill can boost ones stats or substats as appropriate at one time.

-Skills, at maximum, can boost ones sub stats in a single field passively, no more than once, and no more than by 10.

Sub stats are ones reaction time, poison resistance, etc. When applying to jutsu, it can go with jutsu range, power/speed, durations.

-Skills used to boost ones jutsu proficiency can only be learned should the character have the specialty of what they wish to increase, one cannot only have medical spec and then make a skill that would increase the power of ninjutsu.

-If two skills boost the same stats of a sub stat, they do not stack, but instead you get the highest boost only.

-A skill is limited to only one ability, certain branch aspects can be added should the staff allow it.  IE; A skill that increases your senses can in turn also increase your reaction time since it makes sense for them to go hand in hand.

-Skills cannot lower the action cost of jutsu.

-Skills may not reduce the word count needed to learn a technique

Backstory: How you developed the skill, this is only required if you are making a custom character exclusive skill.
Effect: What the skill does.


Wordcount Training: If the wordcount is higher than the base 2,000 put the new amount here.
Character Exclusive: If the skill is unique to a character, put the characters name here.
Bonus Requirements: Any additional requirements needed to obtain the skill.
